TomTom ONE (New Edition)

TomTom has redesigned their popular ONE unit to make it smaller, more stylish and more compact. Although the changes are largely all in design, the ON...

Design, aesthetics, ease of use, user interface, mapping software, excellent navigation and searching

Battery life could be better, AC charger not included

The ONE has received a facelift and although the improvements are largely focused around the aesthetics, this is still one of the best value for money GPS units on the market.

TomTom One V2 Western Europe Traffic

Ease of use - its like a nokia phone in that you know exactly where to find each function. The traffic module is brilliant. I got this for my French girlfriend who is new to driving on UK roads and it allows her to concentrate on driving rather than...

The screen size is a tad small making address input with bigger fingers tricky. Battery life isn't great and they should put the "night colours" as a first level option rather than going through the preferneces menu. That said, if you've got more...

I'm a mom and am rubbish at finding places.. tested it on a long journey and it was perfect ; Easy to use

The mount did not stay on the widowscreen from the word go.. but I screwed it onto my dash and that works out better anyway ; I don't use the battery as such.. just keep it plugged into the car the entire journey

Buy it def!

Dying in stages

Good views

Battery life without charger quite short, doesnt stay in position with attachment provided, tends to fall off mid journey

I bought my Tom Tom One 7 weeks ago, in that time it has died on me twice. The first time it happened thankfully I was almost home so it was not a problem, took it home, bought a home charger (was advised to put it on a full charge) and charged for 2...

Great tool

It's simple and easy to use with a clear screen and clear verbal instructions.

The mapping software supplied in the SD card is often out of date, therefore the unit can be confused by a new road layout.

I bought a TomTomOne about a year ago and have used it many times with great success. Even my parents have used it, and found it extremely useful (and they can't even programme their video!)

My Experience with TomTom One

Sleek and handy.

I just bought a car and decided that I can't live without a SatNav. Based on reviews at various websites, I choose TomTom One. On my first ever drive on the Motorway, when I am about to reach my exit, my TomTom died! Had to drive on one hand and start...

Easy Car GPS!

Very easy to use, yet very customisable in many ways ; It's the latest Tomtom so uses newer technology, better and more responsive than the Tomtom 300. And more portable to carry around

None at the moment

This gives total satisfaction at a great price! You can pop into your local Argos and pick this ONE up for £250 now. Simply brilliant.

Tom Tom One

Good value for money (Atleast for what I paid for it) ; I used it all the way from South England to Midlands and found it precise (except for asking me to go through no entry - but that is probably the case in all GPRS)

I wish other services like weather, speed cameras data base etc was included in the package

Must buy if you like driving and go to places where you have never been because you were scared of getting lost.
