Takes WAY too long to pick up signal

The unit is overall OK, but it takes a very long time every time you turn it on to pick up a signal and you can miss important turns. I suggest another brand!

Junk!

This GPS is complete junk. Mine had repeated software problems after just 4 months of use. I had to reload the maps twice and it finally crashed for good. Customer service was no help - telling me to reload the maps both times only masked the issues....

Whistler unit is a must have unit!!!

I have had this unit for several months but did not really put it to maximum use until this past week. For a two thousand mile, eight city trip, it worked flawlessly. I did learn I need to put in my preferences. After that I was one happy traveler....
