TomTom Cardio Runner & Multisport with Optical Heart Rate In-Depth Review

Overall, I'm impressed with it. While I'd love to see the option to enable heart rate recording while in swim mode, I think that the watch as it stands today is now definitely a contender in the mid-range running watch category. True it lacks some of...

TomTom's out to prove it's serious about fitness

As impressed as we were with the TomTom Runner and Multi-Sport, it was obvious at the time that there was plenty of room for improvement.

Accurate heart rate monitor ; Comfortable ; GPS tracking

Expensive ; GPS lock still slow

TomTom's 2014 refresh is extremely welcome, and proves that the sat nav company is getting more serious about fitness.

TomTom Multi-sport Cardio review

Unfasten that heart-rate monitor from your chest, TomTom's new GPS fitness watch has one built right into the back. That's not all it can do, either. T3's Editor-in-chief and resident ultra runner, Kieran Alger, puts the latest sportswatch to the test.

Built-in heart monitor ; Simple interface ; Accurate data for many sports

Can’t track pulse in the pool ; No Android app

TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio Sport Watch: Australian Review

TomTom is a company with a lot of plates spinning at once. In-car GPS, mobile apps, and the competitive fitness wearable segment make for a lot to pay attention to. The new Multi-Sport Cardio, though, is so simultaneously simple, and powerful, and...

The TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio is a niche device; it’s not a watch you can wear every day, and you’ll have to have it handy whenever you want to go for a run (which makes it a necessary addition to your gym bag, if you visit a club regularly). It...

Functional for the Price

Even though the units are set to Miles/Pounds and Pool Length is set to 25 Yards, it calculates a mile swum at 1500 yards rather than 17260 (17250 would be 70 lengths in a 25 yard pool). Losing more than 250 yards is a bit much for any kind of...

It's got it all

Overall it is very nice not wearing a footpad or heart rate monitor.GPS works great. As with all GPS watches it can be off a little. Looking over my past runs it is pretty spot on. One run was a little off on about a ten foot stretch, but that is about...

Need to wear it tight for heart rate to work

Multi-Purpose Watch

I had been a polar user for years and saw this product and had to have it - love the fact that everything is on the watch - no straps or devices to attach to your shoes. It is very accurate - run the same 4.89 Mile track and always accurate. Like the...

Looks Great!

The watch is definitely cool looking and a statement. I get tons of compliments and questions about the watch, all positive. The band is very sturdy and wide. If you have a thin wrist this may not be the watch for you. I do have some issues fastening it...

Epic Fail

Hey gang, everything this watch should do, it does....until it goes nuts. Two weeks in and about 150 running miles logged, the stop watch started turning on all by itself! It went into a "reset" mode and never came back. The watch is dead, will not...
