TomTom Cardio Runner & Multisport with Optical Heart Rate In-Depth Review

Overall, I'm impressed with it. While I'd love to see the option to enable heart rate recording while in swim mode, I think that the watch as it stands today is now definitely a contender in the mid-range running watch category. True it lacks some of...

TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio review: A feature-rich GPS watch for endurance runners and cyclists

Last year saw a spurt in the number of fitness tracking devices that were launched. We had fitness trackers going from Rs 999 all the way northwards of Rs 30,000. While a lot of the players that have entered the space are relatively new and trying to...

I tested this watch primarily while running and it is clearly a good GPS watch when training. For serious runners who are into running marathons and ultra-marathons, this watch provides enough incentives over the FitBit Charge HR or Jawbone UP3 in...

TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio review

TomTom's out to prove it's serious about fitness

Accurate heart rate monitor ; Comfortable ; GPS tracking heads up a decent list of features

Expensive ; Slow GPS lock ; Better for running than swimming or cycling

As impressed as we were with the TomTom Runner and Multi-Sport, it was obvious at the time that there was plenty of room for improvement.

TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio review: Six months in and we're sold - Pocket-lint

The first TomTom Multi-Sport sportswatch was released around a year ago, catering for running, cycling and swimming activities. It did a fair job, but

Decent battery life, built-in GPS accuracy, built-in heart-rate monitor works a treat, open platform support (or use TomTom MySports), smartphone app sync avoids constant need to plug in

Cradle connection charger is fussy, TomTom MySports still a little slow, no quick mode changes for triathletes, limited to three display features per screen, Races lacks manual programming

At £250 the TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio isn't a budget buy, but it's a detailed device with great battery life that we've found to be transformative for our training. The heart-rate monitor is fantastic, it's comfortable to wear and over the course of...

TomTom Multi-sport Cardio review

Unfasten that heart-rate monitor from your chest, TomTom's new GPS fitness watch has one built right into the back. That's not all it can do, either. T3's Editor-in-chief and resident ultra runner, Kieran Alger, puts the latest sportswatch to the test.

Built-in heart monitor ; Simple interface ; Accurate data for many sports

Can’t track pulse in the pool ; No Android app

TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio Sport Watch: Australian Review

TomTom is a company with a lot of plates spinning at once. In-car GPS, mobile apps, and the competitive fitness wearable segment make for a lot to pay attention to. The new Multi-Sport Cardio, though, is so simultaneously simple, and powerful, and...

The TomTom Multi-Sport Cardio is a niche device; it’s not a watch you can wear every day, and you’ll have to have it handy whenever you want to go for a run (which makes it a necessary addition to your gym bag, if you visit a club regularly). It...

Good solid product

Good solid stuff. Works as described. Just a little more chunky than I originally imagined. But still good overall.

Great price point and capability

Wanted to get back to using the heart rate for training, but didn't want to deal with the strap. Previously owned the TomTom multisport. HR works well, training features seem better than before although might be that I didn't use them on prior model.
