XFX HD 5450 Review

With nVidia's first DX11 graphics cards on shelves now and mainstream offerings forthcoming, the DX11 market is finally starting to see some competition. Still, ATI has quite the headstart and for the time being nVidia is still left battling ATI's...

Low-profile ; Low power requirement ; ATI Stream technology ; ATI Avivo ; Great performance for $60 ; Life-time warranty ; 1GB of memory

Small performance upgrade from HD 4550 & new IGPs

Almost every household has at least one personal computer these days and let's face it, very few of these systems are used for gaming. They are instead being used for editing photos, watching home movies, streaming HD content or surfing the net. For...

Memory Doesn't Add Up ???

Easily installed, quick setup. Works

Supposed to have 1gb of memory, AMD catalyst software supplied with card reports only 4839mg detected. Not happy

Great basic video card

The only way I got that computer to work, was removing the cable-connector from the low profile extra bracket. I left this dangling over the card and connected the external cable through the opening where the bracket would have been and connected it to...

I had built in graphics, on the motherboard, that several online games would not work with. I installed three of these cards, one in each gaming computer. Installation was easy in my full-height case using the default rear bracket. Installation was...

One of my boxes did not include the low-profile bracket, and when I checked the "what's included", the low-profile bracket wasn't listed. It had the same model number as the ones that did included it ; Once I replaced that unit, I went to install the...

Awesome card! Very affordable!

This is a great card! I am using this card for my own server because it's low profile, it is easy on the energy bills. Thanks so much! Great value, and I have a rebate gift card coming from this as well. Thanks!

Good quality sound but...

I can't believe something so simple as making a cable long enough for the expansion could be overlooked in design.

Cheap price, works fine in normal tower

When using with low profile bracket, the ribbon for the D-sub is too short. You cant place the add-on card 'lower' than full card because the ribbon is 1/4 too short. Sloppy design which could be easily solved

Does its job but runs hot

For comparison, I also have MSI GeForce GTX 550Ti in another slot and it runs at cool 31C. However this card comes with a fan and it takes up 2 slots on the motherboard. It is connected to 2 24" monitors. Power consumption of my system when idle went...

Does the job and doesn't take up 2 slots on the motherboard. Simple plug and play, on windows 8.1 atleast

Runs a little hot. Idle temperature is 56C from GPUZ-Z. With a fan on the side of the case it went down to 44C. This card is just connected to 1 19" monitor
