Pretty poor to be honest. Spits out 1/4 the kernels before popping, then spits out another 1/4 when the popping starts - quite a waste really. Had a popcorn maker 10 years ago that worked in a similar way, but it actually worked!

It cooks, but after the first use and wash the plates developed some whitish residue that appears after every wash. It can be mitigated a bit by wiping the plates with water, but it never really goes away. Customer support on the manufacturers website...
