Great back-up burner

I purchased the burner for while we did our entire kitchen remodel. I did need anything fancy and this delivered; it did its job. I would plug the unit in and have it sit on top of a thick wood chopping board so the heat did not affect the table it was...

Price is Everything

This item is little and if used as nothing more than a back up warmer or gravy cook plate it would do fine. I was using it to bring a couple gallons of water to a regular rolling boil and it torched a 70,000 joule surge bar with nothing else but a...

not for every day use

bought this to use in my rv, with a percolator for morning coffee. Worked fine for the 1st 2 months, but the temp knob and the shaft attached to the body is plastic, and basically melted - after some fiddling, finally got it to high and it works on...

Worked three days. Accidently left it on for about 7 hours. Next day, had it on high and my coffe was still luke warm after 15 minutes.

Not good

I had this burner for little over a month and it worked fine up to now. Then the knob broke off completely. Not a good quality product.

Did not last 3 months

I don't know where this was made, probably China. It worked reasonably well for about 3 months. It never really stays hot, continually shuts off before it can actually get going. Takes forever to boil a small saucepan of water. After about 3 months the...

So far so good

Haven't really used it yet, but it heats up and I have a feeling its just what I was looking for.

work fine

Expect it to take a little longer to heat up and cool down than a regular stove, but it works nicely as a temporary cook top while our kitchen is under renovation. It's light weight but compact and well constructed. It's good value for the price.
