Excellent

Excellent

I bought this grill when I first opened my panini/sandwich shop in July 2007. I open 6 days of the week for at least 9 hours and the grill runs constantly from the time we open to the minute we close. It's now 2010 March :).... it burnt out recently...

Works fine, worth it if you do a lot of panini sandwiches

Works fine, worth it if you do a lot of panini sandwiches

We've had this model for several years now. It works fine, but isn't perfect. Once you plug it in, the heating starts, the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. I consider this a safety issue. The heat control goes from 1-7; what does that mean? If...

Perfect paninis

Perfect paninis

A high-quality, solid panini press! I've made plenty of paninis in this thing and am really glad I have it. But it's more than that...it's a fancy George Foreman grill as well. I've never used it for that, but I can't see any problem it would have. It...

Great Grill AND Customer Service

Great Grill AND Customer Service

We got this grill around a year ago and my family is spoiled!!! They will only eat paninis now, no non-grilled sandwiches around our house. So we were quite disappointed when a screw dropped out and down the register, especially after all the...

Pigsty? Makes no sense at all! ! ! ! !

I get a kick out of the pigsty review. How ignorant some people are. If your intention is to cook a steak on this PANINI PRESS, then you should get something else. This appliance was designed as a Panini press. The George Forman grill was designed for...

It does what it was designed to do....Panini's. (it's right in the name)

Doesn't cook fatty American hunks of meat that should be grilled outdoors.

Avoid this Villaware panini grill

Avoid this Villaware panini grill

Had this for a year or two and it stopped working completely. There is NO customer support from the manufacturer. Worked great til it died, but should not have died so soon. Would not buy again.

Excellent Paninis, and an all-weather and healthier alternative to outdoor grilling

Why a countertop grill? Do you love the grilled taste of barbeque, but often don't have the time to fire up the outside grill -- or even the inclination to use it in the dead of Winter? Do you enjoy panini sandwiches done perfectly, with the ...

Very good grilling surfaces ; and flexible joint, allowing larger sandwiches ; beautiful on your granite countertop

difficult clean-up as grills don't detach ; no on-off switch

Heavy and a challenge for storage GREAT

Heavy and a challenge for storage GREAT

Great baker - we love the Panini we get from it - but storage is a challenge. It is large which means we get several sandwiches at a time but takes significant space in cabinet. Sandwiches are just like we had in Italy - great to put together ahead...

Very professional, perfect everytime.

Very professional, perfect everytime.

I love to turn all ordinary sandwiches into panini sandwiches. The pros to this one are: 1. Compact enough that I can store in pull out cabinetry below countertops, and lightweight enough to pull out every time I want to use it. 2. The grill tops are...
