Disappointed in this straightener. Having thick, wavy hair, this product falls short of doing anything besides leaving one frustrated.

hair must be dry to use, and for people with thick curly hair your has to be dry, and straightened with a blowdryer, then you can keep the sleek straight style by using it gently on low heat of 15
