Started making grinding noises after 1 month and I do clean them and oil them after every use, it stopped working shortly after that, do yourself a favor, don't spend your money on this

It vibrates so violently, it will make your hand numb in seconds. I am a guy and I use power tools, even my power sander feels more quite in my hand than this trimmer. Powerful engine and good blade but poor design.

After 6 years the blades on our Andis trimmer were dull. (go figure) We bought this one to replace it. It cuts fine but becomes hot after awhile. The old trimmer did not do this.

I just got these clippers in the mail today (august 13,2010) - I love them. The blade is really close, for close cutting. I recommend this product.
