I use them for at least 45 shaves, but I use it in the shower. I have not had a problem, but I run it under the shower before cleaning it. Using it dry may cause the cartridge to get dirtier faster.

Had 2 clippers before but this one is next to none. The thing that I really like about it is the selector dial. On the top of that it is light weight and slim, so it would fit perfectly in the hand. Its a good buy.

This is well uilt and looks like it is made to last which is perhaps why they have a reasonably high price tag compared to cheaper hair trimmers that break when you drop them.
