You can hear the rotation speed of the heads increase when you give them a spray with the lubricant. The Norelco lubricant smells a lot better than the Remington brand spray. The picture is not correct, the spray head is a regular spray can red plastic...

An alternative would be to clean with WD-40 and then lubricate with sewing machine oil. Note that WD-40 is not a lubricant.
