Nothing wrong with refurbs

I've purchased about 40 of these to replace HDDs in a number of older PC, even as old as Pentium D. These things have added new life to these machines and are great where powerhouse machines aren't required in my shop (i.e. word...

Speedy enough for my purposes

No issues to speak of yet

Pay the xtra $$$ and get a proven drive.

Sorry, NONE

Great Idea just didn't work. I wouldn't recommend this one to anybody. Guess this is what happens when you try and cut a few corners and save a few

Not that great.....

For the price, it would be a steal if I wasn't having so many problems.

It's very fast and easy to install... not that any SSD is hard to install. It was packaged very well. It took only about 1/2 hr to install Windows 7 and it boots in less than 10 seconds

It only works some of the time. This morning, for the second time, I had to reinstall windows 7 because the drive was EMPTY!! Luckily, I always back up my stuff when I get a new hard drive just in case. It's working at the moment but who knows how long...

Reads very quickly. Boots to windows in 15 seconds on a fresh install. Write speed is much lower than the claimed 270/mbs although it is noticeably faster than a standard spindle drive

My primary pc had trouble detecting this drive. It worked intermittently but upon reboot it would not be detected in bios until I did a full shut down, waited a few seconds then powered on again. (randomly worked this way) Then of course it had lost...

Not reliable

I was told, by a Corsair tech, with SSD's to not let them get too full. Also may need to do a backup of the drive and then wipe every 12 months just to refresh MBR. They are less reliable than IDE's.

Quick bootup ; Quick loading

Stopped working after 4 months

Very Fast and Easy SSD Drive

Did I say I was very happy with this running Windows 7 64 Professional

I bought this for my sons laptop I rebuilt for Christmas. This system now screams with this hard drive. I could not be happier. It is now faster than my new laptop in do many tasks involving the hard drive. Well worth the money

DEAD within a YEAR - BAD CS

I haven't had any problems, but hind sight..... well... just wish I had gotten one a little larger.

Not much

Died within a year. Contacted Corsair as all these drives have 3 year warranty, never get any RMA back (submitted multiple requests to get an RMA). Still sitting with a dead HD that is too lite to even be a paperweight

Reliable and fast

Recently replaced this drive with a pair of new SATA 3 drives...even better. :)

Works as advertised. Really fast and haven't had any problems with this drive in the two months I've owned it

Good Speed

Make 100% sure select AHCI mode in the BIOS. I tested it on ATTO Disk Benchmark and it's about 250Mb/s Read and 233Mb/s Write. So it very close to the spec and I'm happy about it. I'm sure if I spend more time to tweak it, it probably will run a...

Had no problem with the drive. Installation on my DELL Latitude notebook was easy enough. Boot time to Windows7 was very very fast ; It came with 3.5" drive bracket for PC installation - I didn't have to use it on my notebook but it's nice to have it

SSD's are the future until something even better is developed

I have never had an SSD before, up until now i have had a 5900 rpm 2TB HDD and then i got this for christmas and put windows 7 home 64bit on it and its only 15-20 sec boot-up to desktop!! :O All i can say is that this is a wonderful gift haha

Capacity/Price ; i know SSD;s will be expensive for quite some time but they could lower the price more than what it is now because the ratio of capacity to price is horrid. my 2TB 5900 ROM HDD was only 60 bucks
