AKG K545

Powerful audio performance with natural bass and crisp highs. Comfortable fit and visually pleasing design. Includes removable cables with both iOS and Android-compatible in-line remotes

Not for seekers of booming low-end. Light on accessories besides the cables

The AKG K545 is a headphone pair for lovers of balanced, crisp audio, with plenty of bass that doesn't get insanely boosted.

AKG K545

The AKGs are built to last and sound insightful enough, but they're lacking in refinement

Sturdy build ; Attractive styling ; Good detail across the board

Unwelcome hardness to the sound ; Short on body and refinement ; No protective case

We love the compact nature of these new AKGs and their stylish, solid build will go a long way to convincing potential owners as will their detailed and punchy sound.

AKG K545

The AKG K545 is a headphone pair for lovers of balanced, crisp audio, with plenty of bass that doesn't get insanely boosted.

On tracks with intense sub-bass, like the Knife’s “Silent Shout,” the AKG K545 delivers some serious thunder without distorting, even at top, unsafe listening levels. The sound signature, however, is nicely balanced out with some crisp highs that keep...

Great sound in a portable package

These are great headphones, they have a really neutral sound to them with a tiny bit more presence on the lower end. Took me 3 different sets to get one that works but it was well worth it. They aren't huge and are nicely sized. If you get an amp the...

Not-So-Hot Headphones

Bought these headphones Saturday (6/21/14). Opened the box, and immediately realized that the removable ear cup was not sown right. One wall of the ear cup was sown to short, resulting in the ear cup falling off. I eventually got the cup to stay on for...

Great audiophile headphones!

I have been collecting headphones for about 10 years due to a heavy travel schedule at work. I prefer over the ear headphones for comfort and sound isolation. I've probably owned 15 different pairs of headphones in the $150-$500 range. These are so far...

Great sound and clarity

These headphones are very comfortable to wear and the clarity and sound are great.

Quality was good.

I thought the sound quality was great! I would call the sound spacious and very flat. They are sold as an upgrade or tweak in levels, to bring out the bass and highs. If you like bass you might have to apply some EQ to get more out of these, but they...

Good quality headphones for the audiophile

For the audiophiles out there, this headphone will blow you away. I've owned a pair of Beats before and these blow it out of the water (I guess anything blows Beats out of the water, right?). The comfort and quality of these surpasses my expectation....
