Review: Altec Lansing UHP301 SnugFit Earbuds

In late November, the updated versions arrived: the UHS307 ($40) and UHS301 ($50) offer the same earphone designs, cables, and plugs as their predecessors, but now come with four things not found in the UHP-series designs: an in-line microphone, a...

Given that they're priced the same as earphones that come with in-line microphones, remotes, and 2.5mm adapters, our ratings of the UHP301 and UHP307 are a hint lower than the mic-equipped UHS301 and UHS307 versions, respectively, but it's worth noting...

decent sounding earphones

These fit like the bose in ear earphones. The sound quality is good though they lack a bit in the bass. For the price they sound much better than the $10-$30 earbuds. The cords are sturdy cloth instead of rubber. They have a volume control and a phone...

Unexpectedly bad sound quality and fit.

These earbuds are well-made, but they are not worth the money. The picture makes these look like the old Jabra cellphone headsets, which fit fantastically well. But these earbuds didn't fit my ears or my daughter's ears with any of the gel sleeves...

Decent

You can tell these are ultra-high quality headphones. My only issue with these is not from the manufacturer, but with me. I have a small hole. My ears hurt with earbuds. These are softer, but they are still large (with the small covers) for my...

You will forget you are wearing them....

When I first saw these ear buds and the price, I thought I'd give them a try. I already have a set of SURE SE530's and some Etymotic 6i Isolator Earphones. I love their sound but they are a bit invasive. The silicone ear pads on the Altec Lansing...

Nice sounding earbuds

For the price these are a nice sounding pair of buds - I have others (Metro Fi 200's) that do a better job of NOISE ISOLATING then these and are more expensive. They come with 3 different sets of pads for different ear sizes. The mediums were installed...

goood value for money..

many people have complained that the product does not fit... but for me the product fits in perfectly if worn correctly(the protrusion in the ear plugs is supposed to fit in the top portion of the ear) Its a good value for money. The only problem is...

Good Enough for casual listening

I mostly use these earphones to listen to music and watch movies on my commute(bus). Once the bus hits the highway it gets very loud, so I figured purchase a pair of earphones that blocks out the background noise. Well I can't say they block out very...

Odd fitting and lacking in the sound department

I really thought these would be the solution to my earbud problem - most just fall out and the ones that go in your ear with the squishy foam hurt after a while. These are okay - they are just a little odd - I can never tell if I have them in...
