Atomic Floyd Superdarts review

Atomic Floyd have been on Pocket-lint's radar for a good while now, with the older generation TwistJax headphones leaving us suitably impressed.

Fantastically balanced and detailed, very good build quality

Expensive and don't fit everyone's ears perfectly

Some of the best but it don't come cheap

High-end earphones with top-end sound and a price to match

They look great ; Built to last... forever ; Brilliant sound quality ; Tangle-proof cable ; Remote control

They're pricey ; Remote isn't compatible with Android devices

'\xa3200 earphones. Hard as nails and with ultra-sharp detail to match.'

Excellent build quality, Superb low-bass slam and weight, Ultra-high clarity

Aggressive treble is tiring, Lack mid-range warmth, Not super-comfortable, Non-removable cable

Atomic Floyd SuperDarts review

The Atomic Floyd SuperDarts offer powerful, punchy bass with clear high frequencies that are sure to appeal to fans of electronic and dance music. The lesser performance with mid-range tones means they won't satisfy audiophile purists though.

Powerful, punchy bass ; Clear high frequencies ; Attractive styling ; Handy in-line remote

Slight lack in mid-range frequencies ; Rubber top half of cable feels flimsy ; Quite expensive

The Atomic Floyd SuperDarts deliver a powerful, punchy sound with aggressive, attractive styling. The poor mid-range tones won't appeal to the dedicated audiophile, but fans of electronic music will appreciate the face-punch delivered in the low end....

Give them a whirl if big bass is your thing, and you like a lot of treble in your music

Nice build ; Detailed midrange

Overwhelming bass ; Hard edge to treble

At £200 we expect a near-flawless balance across the entire frequency range, but the SuperDarts don’t deliver that. If big bass is your thing, and you like a lot of treble in your music, then by all means give them a whirl – but we can’t recommend them...

REVIEW: Atomic Floyd SuperDarts the ultimate headphones for music lovers : Shiny Shiny

A lot of headphones claim to bring us good quality sound that'll rival anything we've ever tried before. Most of them are good, but don't really stand out in a sea of similar products that all deliver in terms of sound and look good too
