B&W P5 review

Bowers & Wilkins have been rolling out the red carpet for our MP3s for quite some time. The B&W Zeppelin is a sex symbol of modern tech design, pumping out some of the best sound we've ever heard from an iPod dock.

Bowers and Wilkins P5 headphones review

Excellent design, outstanding sound quality, choice of cables, noise isolation

Cables might be a little thin, price

The B&W P5 aren't designed to be a reference grade headset for your home recording studio, which some might have expected: they are designed to be portable and for taking on the move, partnered with your iPod or iPhone. They fold flat and you get a bag...

B&W P5 Wireless headphones review

Ditch the cables and get great sound from your phone, tablet or PC wirelessly

We said in our Series 2 review that some might find the £249 price a little hard to swallow, and it’s harder still to stump up £80 more for the removal of a cable. Yet, if you are specifically after wireless headphones, these are one of the best pairs...

B&W P5 review: design and build

Bowers & Wilkins already have the style end of the hi-fi market sewn up. Not just with the achingly cool Zeppelin, but also the eyewateringly expensive Nautilus speakers. So when we first saw the P5s, it was hardly a surprise that we had gadget lust...

B&W P5

I purchased a pair of P5's in black ash. I know, the cherry finish is gorgeous, but I couldn't pass this pair up for the price. I have been listening to them for well over a year now and I can honestly say, they are the best speakers I have ever had in...

Midrange liquidity ; Deep, tight bass ; Smooth and airy highs ; Cabinet construction is second to none ; Biwireable, which IMO makes a HUGE difference ; Support from B&W even for as long as they have been discontinued

Tweeters ; Terminals are not staggered which makes connection via spades a bit cumbersome. SO What go with bananas
