Razer BlackShark Battlefield 4 Collectors Edition Gaming Headset Review

The Razer BlackShark has a price which is slightly on the high side but so is its audio quality and design scheme. BlackShark is a premium high-quality product for gamers.

Razer is asking $139.99 US for the BlackShark Gaming headset which is hefty price for a headset but premium quality and design always comes at a cost. The Razer BlackShark Gaming headset we reviewed is a Battlefield 4 collectors edition model so yes,...

Love them

Great base. great sound. I only paid 60$ for them. there so comfy. I wear glasses so most headsets start hurting after a while these don't. and they are definitely better than the Logitech g930

The sound quality is not the best

If I were playing FPS games more, this headset would be pretty good. However, I want to be able to watch movies and listen to music on my computer too. I replaced this headset with Plantonics RIG and I am much happier now.

Nice and sturdy hardware to hold the ear pieces together and it's very adjustable ; Comfortable to wear for a long time ; Nice and long cable to plug into your computer

The sound is terrible for music and movies watching. There are certain frequency ranges that seemed to be boosted. I think it's probably good for games like Battle Field 4 or other FPS when you need to hear the surrounding noises and such. However,...

Razer Battlefield 4 BlackShark

Extremely comfortable. All metal and durable. Detachable and completely moveable mic makes it great for gaming as well as just headphones

The virtual 7.1 with the razer synapse feels a little off, but its probably cause I havent bothered to do the custom sound settings

Best headset I've used in a while

This headset is amazing! The sound is clear, the mic is awesome, the look is just awesome. Really recommend this headset P.S. I wanted to buy the BF4 version of this headset but I did some research and everything is the same, it doesn't have any...

Amazing mic! The sound is clear, my friends never found my voice hard to understand ; Great sound. Some people may find the bass to deep but after you do some tweaks in a equalizer it sounds phenomenal ; No hissing/static sound. I wanted to get a...

It may hurt your ears if used for more than 4 hours because of the pressure it does to your ears, but then again, you wouldn't have noise isolation ; It doesn't have a volume controller on the cable ; The gloss in the sides of the headset can get dirty...

Gimmicky Gaming Gear

After using these for a full week I am happy with my purchase but would not have spent over $100 on them like I have on others. I have tried several other sets of headphones, cans, earbuds, IEMs, etc. in the same price range that I feel are higher...

Sale price of $60 was a great deal. Superior packaging, this is a reusable box for storage or shipping of delicate items. Great box for those who like to collect boxes. There is no reason why these headphones should arrive damaged unless the package...

Feel kind of flimsy even though they have an aluminum frame. Boomy bass, I had to adjust my EQ to help because it was a little much for my taste. Smaller than what I expected. These do not sit around my hear but rather on my ear. I feel these...
