Beats Studio Wireless

The Studio Wireless Bluetooth headphones offer the Beats signature look and sound, along with the Beats premium price.

Powerful audio performance with intense bass and high-mid boosting. Comfortable fit and solid design. Plenty of accessories, including two cables for wired audio playback

Overpriced compared to competition. Some distortion on deep bass at top volumes. Cannot be used in passive mode

Dr. Dre's Beats headphones lineup is found on the heads and around the necks of athletes giving press conferences and pop stars in music videos, and it would easy to write them off as overpriced, celebrity-endorsed plastic. That would be a mistake, as...

For more, check out our review of the wired version

Bluetooth tames treble some ; Better-controlled bass ; Adequate noise cancelling ; Long-lasting battery ; Sleek design

Lack of dynamics ; Some hiss when music isn’t active ; Response curve changes with volume ; When the battery dies, so does the music

Highs can be too high on some songs (now that’s a switch). Would have liked a 20 hour battery life without using the 3.5mm cable. ANC can be tricky to switch on and off

In the end, the new Beats Studio Wireless is an excellent pair of wireless headphones. So much so, you might just want to skip getting the Beats Studio and go straight for the Beats Studio Wireless instead. The majority of the features are the same...

Beats Studio Wireless headphones review

Are Beats a bad pair of cans? No, but they are expensive

Super sleek design ; Quality sound ; Comfy and easy to use

Exorbitantly pricey ; Some sound leakage ; Too heavy on bass ; Locked-in battery

Beats Studio Wireless

The Studio Wireless Bluetooth headphones offer the Beats signature look and sound, along with the Beats premium price.

Obviously, if you’re looking for a true-to-life, less-sculpted sound signature, the Beats Studio Wireless is not the answer. This is for bass lovers who want the booming lows to be balanced by sculpted high-mids. It’s not an accurate sound, but it’s a...
