Beats by Dr. Dre Studio

The product that started the celebrity-endorsed headphone craze gets an update, but the Beats Studio is still intended for bass lovers and not for audiophiles.

Delivers powerful audio with deep bass and very crisp highs. Quite comfortable. Comes with two detachable cables, one with inline remote control. Rechargeable battery

Overpriced. Wildly sculpted sound signature not for purists. Can't be used in passive mode. The familiar design is either a draw or a repellent

Audiophiles and lovers of booming bass alike often ask me what I think about Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, assuming I'll somehow slam the company. But I'm actually a fan of what Beats has accomplished—in 2008, virtually no one was paying money for...

Beats By Dre Studio

Seriously thumping bass, iconic design, and active noise cancellation make the Beats Studio a very good choice for folks who favor louder, bass-driven music like hip-hop and rock.

Lightweight; Stylish; Powerful bass; Power-saving automatic mode

Noise cancelling not as good as Bose; Sound stops when power runs out

There's no denying the appeal of the new Beats Studio's hip styling and muscular sound. These are not for audio purists -- they deliberately color the sound in favor of aggressive styles of music. Travelers can do better on the noise cancellation front...

Beats by Dre Studio review

Let's face it: Beats headphones don't need press. The brand is, by far, the most recognizable in its market. In fact, it could be argued that a published review of a Beats by Dr. Dre headphone is more beneficial at this point to the publisher's traffic...

Lighter, stronger and sleeker ; Dual-mode noise-cancelling ; Auto-off switch ; Rechargeable battery ; Effective noise cancelling ; More controlled bass than before

Odd thumping noise in right ear when pushed ; Response curve seems to change with volume ; Treble is shrill and piercing at times ; When battery dies, so does the music

While the new Beats Studio deliver a re-voiced sound as promised, the changes aren’t all for the better.

Beats by Dre Studio (Black)

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones offer a stylish and comfortable design as well as an exceptionally crisp and balanced audio response with a tight low-end and warm mids. Included are a nice carrying case and a music-phone-compatible cable.

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones cannot be used without batteries, they're expensive, and the glossy black design is very smudge-prone.

The Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones deliver the trifecta of sleek, comfortable design, useful features, and top-notch sound quality. If you can afford them, they're a worthy investment toward an improved listening experience.

Beats by Dr. Dre Studio (White)

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre headphones offer a stylish and comfortable design as well as exceptionally crisp audio response. Sound quality is mostly balanced, with warm mids and thumping bass. Included are a nice carrying case and a...

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre headphones cannot be used without batteries. Glossy black design is very smudge-prone, and a few songs sound harsh. Right earcup rattles while you walk.

The unique and stylish Monster Beats by Dr. Dre headphones offer solid audio, useful accessories, and a look that's anything but copycat. For fashion-forward folks with cash to spare, they're a great option.

Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Headphones Review

Few brands of headphones have achieved popularity and consumer adoption as quickly as Monster's Beats by Dre series. We recently purchased our own pair of the Beats' Studio Edition headphones to tell you if these are merely marketing fluff or the "real...

The Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones are by no means a bad product; these are truly unique in appearance and quite good in the musical genres these were created for, but these are far from a good product when you look at the overall value.

Monster Cable Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Headphones Reviewed

Monster provides these isolating headphones that have a "Push to Listen" button which is a risky way to listen to headphones but people still like them. With bass and dynamics to spare - the Beats by Dre headphones have become more of a hip-hop status...

The Monster Beats by Dre headphones are surprisingly comfortable and lightweight, making long periods of use, ahem, wear rather pedestrian and non-fatiguing

I did my evaluation of the Beat by Dre headphones at a Monster Cable-sponsored event, so if they were going to sound their best, I have to imagine it was going to be in Monster's own house. This said, the Beats are atrocious. Because of their...

To sum the experience of listening to the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones from Monster Cable: they're a bit like getting punched directly in the ear canal by a very attractive woman bejeweled in Cartier. The Beats by Dre headphones are ungodly expensive...

Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Headphones Review

With an AED 1,400 price tag, Beats by Dre Studio is clearly aimed at audiophiles.

If you can afford these headphones without having to break the bank, they’re definitely worth parting your Dirhams for. Crystal clear sound, great bass, noise cancelling features and sleek looks make Beats by Dre Studio an audiophile’s dream.

Monster Beats Studio By Dr.Dre

When the news broke that Monster cables are working together with Dr. Dre to make a line of headphones, most of the response I've heard were not positive. Sure, having Monster Cable and Dr. Dre's

Overall, the Beats Studio headphones have a very enjoyable sound that is easy to appreciate by the average consumer. It definitely is not an audiophile headphone, and it never tried to do so. If you feed it complex classical music, the Beats simply...
