BOSE Quiet Comfort 3

It was only a few days ago that we reviewed the Genius Noise Cancellation headphones, and waxed eloquent on opportunities for cheap makes in the market. What we have here now is the baap of them all, perched on the opposite end of the spectrum. Bose's...

Overall the QC3 is an interesting product that's poised to be the market leader in this new genre of headphones. However, we feel the tag of Rs 21,600 amounts to mindless premium pricing – even Seinnheisers cost less. (It's small consolation, but all...

Bose Quiet Comfort 15

In designing its fourth-generation consumer noise-canceling headphones, the QuietComfort 15s, Bose has done something interesting. Instead of coming up with a whole new look for its headphones as it did with the QuietComfort 3s , Bose has left the...

Extracomfortable design; improved sound; highly effective noise-canceling circuitry; device folds for compact storage in included carrying case; 30-day home trial.

Expensive; when the battery dies, so does the music.

While they're no bargain, the Bose QuietComfort 15s currently offer the best sound and silencing capabilities in a pair of noise-canceling headphones.

Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise-Canceling Headphones

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

nbsp ; Excellent sound quality ; Adjustable ; Can withstand multiple drops ; Water-resistant ; Light weight and wraps up tightly for easy portability

nbsp ; Didn’t take much force to remove the headphones during our force test ; Consumer testers didn’t find them very comfortable to wear for long periods of time ; Didn’t always stay put during use for our consumer testers

"Not the product I expected, but good in its own way!"

About six months ago I replaced my Bose TriPort headphones with a pair of QC15. The purchase did turn out to make me happy, though not the way I expected.

"Excellent sound, excellent noise cancellation."

For the price these headphones are very good.

Noise cancellation is very effective for libraries, airplane rides, even coffee shops.

The price can be a bit steep, but they will last you for years if you take care of them.

"Bought this product and having an amazing time with it"

I would say for what you pay is what you get. If you are looking for a comfortable headphone with "note" an awesome noise cancelling capability without letting it pain your ears while the music is playing.. This is literally the best of both worlds.

For (i=0;i<3;i++) {

A major con though is the mic-speaker combo secondary cable that is given only works with a crappy

"Prfect high end headphones"

I had to choose between dr dre beats studio and this headphone. My primary concern was sound cancelling which bose through this headphone has gotten close to perfection. Sound on this is definitely outstanding but if I was a solely deep base beat...

"Surprisingly excellent sound."

I used to read a lot of headphone forums. Based on advice I got there, I own both a very good pair of closed studio headphones (Sennheiser HD380 Pro) and a very good pair of audiophile open headphones (Audio Technica ATH-AD900.)

Sound quality, noise canceling, comfort.

None that I can think of.

"Great for what they're supposed to do"

These headphones are amazing if you value sound canceling above all else. These are so unbelievably comfortable, and the quiet that you can achieve when flying justifies the price tag right there. My only real gripe is that the sound is not necessarily...

"They work like a charm."

I think the headphones work great when traveling. They are comfortable and do a great job cancelling the noise of the engines of a plane or the crying baby sitting next to you. However, if you were to fall asleep and push the headphones against the...

The headphones are quite comfortable and offer a low and high setting depending on what setting you are in. Also, they cup the ears very well which helps with the noise cancelling abilities.

Some cons with the headphones are that if you lean to a side and compress the headphone over your ear, it sort of hurts and creates a really loud weird noise. Also the cord is pretty frail and rips near both of the ends. I am already on my second.
