Bragi Dash Pro true wireless earbuds review

The Dash Pro show real promise, but buggy functionality has us once again pressing pause on Bragi's “hearable” future.

Excellent fitness tracking and automation ; Five-hour battery nearly doubles original Dash ; Improved response for touch controls ; Sleek, waterproof design

Finicky setup can be frustrating ; Occasionally buggy operation ; Bass-heavy sound takes a step back

Bragi’s new Dash Pro packs in even more features than the company’s original “wearable computer,” including nearly double the battery life, new gesture controls, and impressive workout functions. However, an extremely finicky setup process and bugs in...

Bragi Dash review

Bragi's Dash wireless earphones are packed with potential, but still feel like prototypes.

When everything works according to plan, the Dash are a brilliant example of high-end audio technology, with features galore and a cool-factor that blows through the roof. Unfortunately, the Dash still feel more like a prototype than a sterling example...

Bragi Dash review: The smartest earbuds on the planet

The fact that Bragi managed to deliver exactly what is said it would is an impressive feat alone. It took the company longer than anticipated, but the final product is a category first. Truly wireless headphones that break new ground in terms of...

Good sound ; Snug, secure fit ; Easy to use ; Excellent design and build quality ; Portable charging case

Bluetooth problems outdoors when the phone is in your pocket ; Sleeves for different ear sizes are ugly ; Still some bugs in the firmware ; Fitness features need expanding

These wireless earphones aim to translate foreign languages in real time

These totally wireless earphones are billed as the world's first "wireless ear computer" and feature real-time language translation.

Bragi Dash

An innovative product on multiple levels, the Bragi Dash is a truly cable-free wireless earphone pair that doubles as a fitness tracker.

Cable-free Bluetooth design. Powerful audio performance with solid bass response. Accurately counts steps. Protective case is also a charger. Exceptionally secure fit. 4GB of storage.

Sculpted audio not for everyone. Inaccurate heart rate measurements in testing. Meager battery life. Ambient room monitor has a slight delay. Controls take time to learn.

Conclusions What to make of the Bragi Dash? It comes down to your priorities—if you're all about fitness tracking and a cable-free, waterproof design, it could be worth the rather high price of entry. Audio performance is solid, but we expect a bit...

Bragi Dash review: wireless earbuds are still an unfinished dream

I hate wired headphones. It's my own fault, I admit, I just really don't mix well with wires. I crumple them until they tangle and (inevitably) fray, and I remain blind to them until the moment...

Great hardware ; Smart interface design ; Good carrying case ; Fast charging ; Lots of potential

Sound quality is subpar ; Bluetooth connection to the phone causes major audio problems ; Too many half-finished ideas

Review: Bragi Dash

It's hard to explain how wonderful it is to completely cut the cord on your headphones. To not have to untangle them, or worry about them getting caught on your bag or jacket. To run without a sweat-covered cable bouncing everywhere. Cable-free...

Truly wireless headphones are a wonderful thing. Solid sound quality for such small 'buds. Super secure, and can handle the elements. When you wear them you feel like the future

Connectivity is a mess, and without good connectivity what good are wireless headphones? Many of the coolest features are just promises right now. There's some serious social oddity in wearing headphones like these

These Dashes are a tantalizing glimpse at a device from that future, proof that it’s possible to put all the sensors and chips in front of our eyes into our ears. This kind of gadget could someday be amazing, but Bragi hasn’t made good on its promise...

Bragi Dash Pro wireless earphones Review

We're testing out Bragi's latest product, the Dash Pro, which is an ambitious effort to deliver the most intelligent and advanced pair of truly wireless headphones. Can they meet the high expectations that they set?

Tons of features packed into them ; More on-board controls than most wireless earbuds ; Rich audio performance using foam ear tips ; No latency issue with watching video ; Convincing amplification with its sound transparency mode ; Superb isolation...

It's extremely expensive compared to other mainstream options ; Generic-looking design with the earbuds ; Clunky battery charging ; Thin and light audio quality when using silicone covers

The Dash Pro review: True wireless fitness tracking and music streaming with on-board storage

Our Bragi The Dash Pro review takes a look at a pair of true wireless earbuds with fitness and onboard storage capabilities in addition to the usual Bluetooth streaming support.

Comfortable, snug fit ; Easy to use ; On-board music storage ; Auto running/cycling/swimming tracking ; Decent battery life ; Google Assistant/Siri/Alexa support ; Heart rate monitoring ; Frequent updates

A bit pricey for some ; Only tracks running/cycling/swimming

Bragi Dash Pro Review: Pricey Wireless IEMs Have No Love for Android - MySmartPrice

Truly wireless earphones became quite popular after the launch of the Apple AirPods. It must still be noted that Apple only popularised wireless earbuds. In reality, it was Bragi that introduced the concept of truly wireless earphones. The German...

Sound quality is decent ; No aptX support ; Connectivity issues ; Overpriced
