I bought a set of Sony ear buds and they died after 6 months. I tried to get them replaced but it was too hard so I bought another pair. They just died, after about 6 months. I'm not using my old 20 year old Sony hard ear buds. Zero stars

Sony EPEX1 Ear Cushion

"I like the way they fit and how there is different sizes, but they can easily be nocked off or snagged and pulled off the headphones. I am going to try a drip of Krazy glue this time to make sure they don't fall off."

Sony MDR-E 888

I have bought the 888 two years ago. Clearly, they sound really good for buds. When I got them, I was using EX70s and I felt the 888 were a LOT flatter sounding. Overall, the tone is good, the presence is JUICY, bass had good impact and mids are...

Sony MDR-EX52

These are great headphones, I use them in the gym with my mp3 player. They're comfortable, sound great, and seem hard wearing. The sound quality's pretty much the same as the slightly older EX71. Highly recommended for gym or commuting.

SONY DR-AS22IP

Bought these in April 2012 and the microphone and volume controls died on my March 2013. Not too bad considering I sweat a lot and have been using them constantly during that time. For this price, I'll just buy another and hope they last just as long.

Sony MDR-7510

Got mine from an amazon seller in the UK - I don't know if mine were "iffy" (the build quality did seem suspect) but they were rubbish, with a flat and poor quality sound. I thought they'd be an upgrade on the cheaper (and vastly superior) V6/7506.

I bought 2 pairs at $40 each from ... Circuit City and now I can't take them back. I am not exaggerating when I say I will probably just throw them away. Very suprised that Sony put their name on this product ... and these are their "high performance"...
