Klipsch Image ONE Headphones

Powerful audio performance. Doesn’t distort on deep bass tracks, even at maximum volume. Comfortable fit. Built-in iPhone/iPod/iPad controls

Audio can leak out at higher volumes—people near you may hear your music. Weak call quality

The affordable Klipsch Image ONE headphones successfully combine strong audio performance with comfort for long listening sessions.

Klipsch Image One

Earlier this year, Klipsch introduced the first set of on-ear headphones it has ever made. Having enjoyed several of Klipsch's in-ear headphone offerings in the past (we really liked the Image S4) we've been eager to give these full sized cans a go.

Powerful, punchy bass ; Zesty highs ; Comfortable ear pads ; Good sounding iPhone mic

Shrouded midrange ; Some pressure fatigue during extended wear

The Klipsch Image One will find a lot of fans in listeners who want a classy looking headphone that makes a bold sonic statement and works well with iDevices without draining their wallets.

Klipsch Image One review: Klipsch Image One

The $150 Image One is the first full-size, on-ear headphone from Klipsch. Its cushioned design is comfortable for short-term use, although we experienced mild discomfort over a long period of time. We're impressed by its ability to maintain a rich...

Lightweight on-ear design; earcups fold flat for easy storage; good isolation from external noise; works great with iPods; two-year warranty.

Potential for discomfort after extended use.

The Image One's bass outmuscles the competition and tight earcup seals hush external noise. With a closed-back design, a solid two-year warranty, and more lifelike sound details at half the price of competitive models, the affordable Klipsch Image One...

Klipsch Image ONE On-Ear Stereo Headphones Reviewed

The Klipsch Image ONE headphones is an over the ear design. While the Klipsch performs admirably, there are several drawbacks that may keep it from being the headphones you walk away with.

In an era of headphones that are designed to ; appeal more as a fashion statement than an aural one, it's nice to see that Klipsch has gone back to ; basics with their Image ONE headphones ; The Image ONE is lightweight, portable and comfortable for...

The Image ONE's lightweight ; design and portability comes at the expense of long-term comfort for the ; ear cups are too small and sit awkwardly on ones ears - at least this ; reviewer's ears ; When driven to play louder than what they're ; capable of...

At $149.99 the Image ONE from Klipsch has a lot going for it though it's far from perfect. If you're one to listen to well-recorded, perhaps self-ripped, digital music at moderate levels, then the Image ONE is going to be ideal for you. However if you...

Klipsch Image One On-Ear Headphone (Playback 46)

Klipsch's elegant-looking Image One ($149.99) is the firm's first-ever on-ear headphone/headset, whereas all of Klipsch's other Image-series headphones are in-ear models. Why would Klipsch strike out in a new direction when it is already on a roll with...

Klipsch Image One (II) review

A brand new look, but the same drivers as before. Is that enough?

Functional new design ; Same great performance ; Lovely bass tone

Mid range could be better

Klipsch's great-sounding headphones are more stylish than before, cut down on cable clutter and deliver fantastic bass. The sound is big, but mid-range is a little muddy for our tastes.

Klipsch Image One review

Klipsch was founded in Hope, Arkansas, back in 1946 by a Mr Paul W. Klipsch, giving it a considerable heritage in the audio world. Here at Pocket-lint, we've seen a wide range of high-end in-ear headphones from the brand, such as the Image S4 which...

Lightweight, protective case, comfort, decent audio

Slightly flimsy build quality, small earcups

Not the cheapest headphones around, but they do offer a comfy fit and a solid audio performance as well as a lightweight design and a protective case

Klipsch Image One review

Klipsch markets the Image One as an on-ear (supra-aural) headphone, even though the earpads may be big enough to fit around smaller ears. Unlike over-ear (circum-aural) headphones, which have earpieces and earpads designed to completely surround the...

The Image One is a well-built and well-appointed headphone that will please the listener who likes music served loud with lots of bass. Buyers looking for accuracy and a balanced sound should look elsewhere.

Klipsch Image One

If you love your bass, these are perfect. If not, a long audition is in order

Lavishly finished; generally composed and balanced sound

Except in the bass, which threatens to capsize the whole thing

Klipsch Image One

These over-the-ear headphones from Klipsch, maker of some of the world's best-loved audio gear, follow the new trend of incorporating an iOS-compatible remote with mic on the cable.

Sweet mid-range and treble; good call quality

Too much bass

The Klipsch Image Ones are a nice set of headphones with the added bonus of an in-line remote control and mic. However, they’re let down by an overwhelming amount of bass which might even be too much for those who like their audio on the doof-doof side.
