Corsair Vengeance 1100 Review

Corsair's new stripped down headset may not look like much, but it kicks out a solid noise.

While the Vengeance 1100 is fussier to wear than a circumaural headset such as the

Solid build quality.

Not as comfortable as most over-the head headsets.

Garbage, complete garbage - they broke, and hurt

The usb connection can be used to connect other analog mic/headphone combos

They are VERY uncomfortable, I hate them, then eventually they broke, I wish I had never bought them

great

Great

had them for a couple of days now taking them on and off and it works absolutely great so far. My head isn't quite big so I guess it won't break as easy for me but I guess it depends ; Sound is great, mic is great, works for what I need it for

None so far other than just that I have to push them back a bit rather than having them sit perfectly on my ear because the clip hurts the top of my ears after about 30 mins

Great product for the price

This is a good little headset. I would not recommend for hours of gaming on end unless you have small ears. I have large ears and the top of the plastic curviture really digs into the top of my ear. But what this product cost and the sound quality...

see above. Yeh they are cons but not really any cons when you get a corsair product at this price

Would not recommend

I heard they brake easily if you open them up too wide, so I'm being extra careful. Got them for cheap on rebate with an extra mail-in-rebate, but it wasn't worth it for me since I just can't stand wearing them. Feels like it's tearing my ears apart.

Looks great ; Good sound quality ; Okay mic quality ; Build quality looks solid

I find them very uncomfortable, I just can't stand them after wearing them for a little while. They are also hard to put on ; I think they are just too heavy and stiff for the "behind-the-head" design. They give me headaches

Solid Headset

The discomfort really isn't that bad, I'm just nitpicking. If really comfortable headphones are important to you though, pay a bit more for it. The pads on the headphones are really soft though, it's just the part that goes over your ears that bothers me.

Sound quality is good for the price, both in the headphones and from the mic to other people. It replaced a generic headset from target that had been the same price. Everyone told me I didn't come through really well on that other one, and everyone...

I guess the only con is that it isn't really adjustable, and, at least on my head, my ears get sore after wearing the headset for a while because it's just hard plastic resting on them

Oh, SNAP!

Expected poor/absent Quality Control from no-name generics but Corsair?! (Welcome to the Slippery Slope.)

Good sound ; Included 3.5mm to USB adapter & carrying case

Left arm SNAPPED under easy, normal use (sliding unit over my ear to start listening) ; Tops of your ears will be SORE after 1 day's use ; Earpieces shift out of 'focus' with slightest head movement

Great audio/record, Poor design

I'm rather disappointed in Corsair with this product. I thought they put out descent products, but with this product giving me headaches I would if their other products would be any better. The biggest problem of all is that this model was supposed to...

The audio is amazing. I would say that the speakers in the headphones have significantly increased my computing experiences. The mic is wonderful and I come through really clear on it. I love the mic mute feature, really boosts the experience

However, for all of the good points of this model there is a painfully obvious flaw. The style of the headphones may look nice and appealing (it was to me), this is not the case after wearing them for any time longer than one nigahiga or a voltaire...

Great budget headset

With the analog jack plugged in, I could still hear my PS3, which I run through analog sound through the line in on my sound card because I play Rocksmith, a guitar game that needs analog sound because HDMI produces a bit of lag and makes it hard to...

This is a great set for the price. I got them on a newegg shell shocker, $10 after MIR. Even at $20-30 I'd consider buying them again. The sound via USB is crystal clear--skype calls are great both ways, games and music sound awesome (I also have a...

This might just be me because I have a big head, but they aren't comfortable to wear beyond an hour or two. They squeeze on the ears just a little too snugly for my taste. I will probably gift these to a friend or relative and upgrade to a set that...
