Sennheiser CX 280 Review

When we played the Cake ditty mentioned above at a family wedding a few years ago, everyone from five to 75 hopped to the dance floor to boogie. Listening to the Sennheiser CX 280's had the same effect on us: We started boppin' the instant their lush...

Crystal clear sound; bright yet warm; solid build quality

Left us craving for just a bit more bottom end; no in-line microphone

The Sennheiser CX 280’s are very worthy headphones, with a price/performance ratio that’s off the hook. The absence of an in-line mic limits their appeal, and they fell just short of making us fall in love with all our old albums again, but they make...

great little earbuds

They fit the ear great, and come with 3 different size rubber adapters just in case they don't fit out of the box. They dampen enough sound to make listening comfortable. For what I paid, they're terrific

can't think of one

Good, but not $69.99 good

Great audio and the rubber fits so well that it does help block outside noise. The volume control is also really nice

I got it for $15 during a I'm very happy. However I can't imagine paying $69 for it. That's pretty crazy

Cheap parts

Warranty doesn't cover the anything from the cons section from what I've read on their product website, oh well.

Better sound quality compared to skull candy headphones that I find in retail stores nearby at around the same price ; Looong Cable

The sound from the right was weaker than the sound from the left. However, that was all solved by another problem haha ; Made of very cheap plastic, the front half of the right ear-bud broke off when I fell to my right (it was in the front pocket). It...

Great value.

I bought these for 17 bucks. They are worth a lot more than that. Considering trying out some bigger Sennheisers for my stationary needs.

Very good bang for buck. Balanced highs and lows. Excellent for silencing background noise. Decent bass. Seals well into ear and doesn't fall out

Slight background hissing audible when there's no sound playing, this is due to the fact that it seals into the ear so well and suppresses noise

Using the medium size out of the box they fit well into my ear canal. The noise isolating feature works so well it does indeed cause noise when hitting/moving the cord. Much like when you press your fingers against your ear to seal out any noise, the...

Solid sound ; Clear ; Volume control doesnt pop like I expected it to ; I was concerned about the added weight from a volume control but that is a complete non issue

None really. Maybe you can make a case for not having amazing bass, but as is the bass can hit pretty good on some songs

For 25$...amazing

Buy these over any other headphones if they're still within 20-40$, they're sick! I didn't ever know you could have noise cancelling earbuds, I live on the busiest street in my town so it's awesome hearing nothing!

Awesome headphones for the money!! Pretty awesome noise cancelling, friend was talking to me and I didn't even notice! Can hear bass really well when I get them in just right. Don't even notice I have them in either! Volume control on the cable is...

Cord? It's just a standard wired cord, I only paid 25$, but if I paid 60$ I wouldn't want just a regular standard cord

Fits ok, sound is ok

I feel kind of duped by this seller. I'm positive it said noise cancelling at some point, now it's back to isolating...beware

Great for the Price!

Bought on Black Friday sale for $24.99

Decent bass, clean and crisp sound. Huge upgrade from my stock Samsung earbuds

Only con I've ran across is the inline volume control. If I move it anywhere below full, the sound is unbalanced on the left and right channels. Best to just run at max and use volume control on your device itself

Very nice!

I know a number of earbuds have them but the slider on the cord is nice to drop the volume quickly without having to pull out my phone/ipod.

Excellent quality on all levels... fits comfortably in the ear without the soreness that can come from other ear buds. I was surprised by the quality of the lows. I've listened to everything from Pandora to lossless audio and been very satisfied

I've liked the noise canceling in my Shure ear buds better. These do a decent job but not as much as I would've liked. But for 50.00 I'm not complaining
