Denon AH-D1100

Today's headphone market is saturated with flashy, urban inspired, street-style offerings typified by exotic materials, outrageous colors and celebrity endorsements. It's easy to understand then how one might end up overlooking Denon's latest...

Warm, relaxed sound ; Super comfortable ; High sensitivity ; Solid construction

Bass may be a little heavy for some listeners

Denon’s AH-D1100 over-the-ear headphones shun style and celebrity shenanigans for old-school audiophile sound quality.

Denon AH-D1100

Top-notch audio performance. Comfortable over long listening sessions. Fold flat for easy packing. Extension cable and jack adapter included

Enhanced bass response may turn off audiophiles seeking flat response. Comes with pouch rather than case. Hardwired cable

With a simple design, but superb audio quality, fans of strong-but-not-overwhelming bass response will love Denon's comfortable AH-D1100 headphones.

Denon AH-D1100 review

At £20 over our £100 limit, we hoped the Denon AH-D1100 headphones would impress us. Compared with the robust build of the Shure model and the light but tough styling of Philip's entry, the Denon's looks didn't bowl us over. We think it's the...

Shopping around, you may be able to find these likable Denon cans for less than £120. If you spot them on offer, go for it. But at the RRP, it’s tough to recommend them above some of the other models we looked at, which are cheaper but similarly...

Denon AH-D1100 review

The Denon AH-D1100s sound great, and they're incredibly light and comfy. If you're looking for a great set of all-rounders, we reckon they're worth the money.

Clear, balanced sound ; Extremely light and comfy ; Plenty of accessories included

Feel rather cheap and plasticky

They didn't blow us away, but we really like the Denon AH-D1100s. They offer strong, balanced sound, and are so light and comfy that we can forgive the fact they feel rather plasticky. They're a great pair of headphones for anyone seeking something...

Denon AH-D1100

While I will agree nearly point-by-point with the reviewer regarding the sound reproduction of the AH D1100s, I must wholeheartedly disagree that these cans are ‘built to last'. In fact, this model appears to have, in the experience of a number of...

But this headphone for an out of the world order experience. Trust me!!

If you are an looking for a great sounding headphone without breaking the bank, look no further. Just look at the specs. Frequency response of 5-37000 (incredible), 32 ohms, 101db sensitivity. This headphone won top honors for the under $200 category...
