eDimensional AudioFX2 EDI-150 Circumaural Headset

After having this thing for 16 months the microphone stopped working out of nowhere. They still function as great headphones though. I'll probably just buy a new microphone and cut off the mic wire lol.

Interesting Idea with the vibration ; Good Sound ; Detachable Mic

None really

Best headset ever.

I saw some people complain that they are uncomfortable and they where like that new out of the box. But after i bent the top out a little they fit my big head like a glove and my ears no longer hurt after wearing them for a long while.

I bought these to replace a $80 headset that one of my pet rats decided to eat the wire on. These blew those out of the water for half the price ; I love that the mic is removable when I'm eating i can remove it with out having to worry about it...

Their huge size make them hard to use for an Ipod but perfect for computers ; Also randomly every once in a while they make some weird noise. I don't know what's causing it. It's not my sound card cuss it never dose it when i have my speakers plugged...

Great for short term usage

I now see that the thing that kept the earpiece and headset together was this very little amount of plastic with maybe some type of adhesive... not a very sturdy connection.

Mic can be unplugged when it is not needed ; Lasted for a few months ; Cord length was long and could be tied or loosened according to needs ; Standard plug-in jacks

The left "earpiece" snapped off from the headset quite easily, however the wire was still intact. Although the earpiece snapped off, it is still usable, but when using it after the snap one would have to place his/her hand on that earpiece to make sure...

you will not get better sounding headphones with a 200$ headset.

sound quality is excellent, fit pretty well, not the most comfortable tho ; cant say enough about how good the sound quality is... iv owned these for 2+ years and the speakers are wonderful, all music on my pc sounds really good, and games such as...

the mic worked very very well, everyone i talked to on vent told me i came through very clear and i didnt have any static ever.... untill i stopped using vent for about 6 months or so, so the mic was in the up and out of the way position, when i went...

Interesting features.

I am really intrigued by the vibration feature. I thought it would just be some cheap gimmick, but it adds a dynamic that I really appreciate. Games like Bioshock II really shine. When you hear the big daddies stomping around, it feels like they're...

Comfortable headset, voice quality an improvement over my previous, more expensive, headset. The "vibration" feature is interesting. It doesn't vibrate like a console's gaming controller, just makes bass sounds more full seeming, similar to a giant...

I believe this headset is probably going not last more than a year or two, due to the stress I am putting on the cord. I am unplugging and re-plugging the headset fairly regularly and there's a lot of stress being put on the thin cords. Not a huge...

Appears to be...broken?

Shouldn't of bought this, as others said, the right ear went out after 2 weeks. Never yanked the cord,no signs of wear, no cuts,no twirls. Not sure what happened there.

Great for gaming ; Great for music ; The bass was crazy, definitely didn't expect that

When the "bass on the go" was plugged into my computer all I heard was a lot of feedback, but playing a game or listening to music would drown that out. Hurt my ears not long after putting on

Don't yank it

It took a year but something bad finally happened. I'd say they're fairly rugged and am looking to buy these again. Managed to survive falling off my desk quite a few times but couldn't take a tug on the cable. Surprising because the cable, overall,...

One of the best sounding headsets I've gotten so far. But I haven't used many of the high end headsets ; Detachable mic is great and sounds good. Haven't had any problems with it ; Very good bass (when making and listening to music) and mids and highs...

A tug on the cable managed to kill the sound on my left side. Far as I can tell the mic still works but only the right speaker functions now. Everything looks intact but I suspect poor connections somewhere near the jack failed under the stress ; The...

Decent heaset

I've been searching for a good (well priced) "gaming headset" for a while now and this seems to fit the bill. The voice activation and mic work well (unlike razer carcharias). The sound quality is good as well. I've owned or own many other "gaming...

The mic works much better on voice activation with teamspeak than any other headset I've used so far ; Sound quality is good

No inline mute button ; rumble feature really only adds bass (can't feel which direction enemies are coming from in game) ; It's a bit uncomfortable for my large head after about 4-5 hours of wear

Great Sound

if you are looking for high-end headphones just for music, these obviously aren't for you, but as a a great all around gaming, chat and music headset, it's tough to beat these. I will most likely purchase more products from eDimensional, as they are of...

Awesome sound and mic quality. Overall the headset is of high quality, very durable and comfortable. I wear these up to 12 hours at a time and my ears don't hurt. I play a wide range of games;shooters, rts, rpg, all sound great! Even music sounds great...

I also had a small mishap with the wires. I leaned away from the pc and the mic wires pulled apart. I don't feel that there was extreme tension placed on the wires, maybe just a design flaw
