Etymotic HF3 Earphones

A very well-known name in the audio world, Etymotic Research has always stood for accuracy and fidelity. Their latest budget-priced model that we recently reviewed - the MC5, successfully extends the company's philosophy to a lower-end market but the...

Stellar noise isolation; impeccably clear, detailed, balanced, and accurate sound; comes in three flavours of varying smartphone functionality

Deep-insertion form factor can take time getting used to; neutral and balanced sound won’t appeal to everyone

The Etymotic HF3 is a thoroughly modern, iPhone-compatible take on the classic Etymotic design philosophy. The single balanced armature transducer produces sound with the highest attainable levels of clarity and detail. Like the flagship ER-4 model,...

Good Deal!

These headphones are the best deal for the price. Read no further and proceed to checkout! Don't fear the flange tips....You will love them (perhaps after a day or two of use).

Etymotic Solid

After 4 years my beloved er6i's shorted out and I immediately went back to Etymotic looking for replacements. Since I now have an iphone instead of just a touch, I wanted the mic & control options. Unfortunately, the first pair I bought were attached...

Good for most applications...

Very comfortable. Great sound isolation. Good to very good sonic quality. Do not use for outdoor / active applications. I did and but just a bit of sweat making it to the 3-button controller fried the unit. That was a disappointment.

Great product, great support

There are two things this product does really well, highs and noise isolation. If you are looking for that Etymotic is what you want. If you are looking for a ton of base you are better off going elsewhere. In addition to this the service is excellent....

Great sound

These are excellent and comfortable. They are built very well too and sound fantastic as expected. These are as advertised to say the least.

Amazing sound quality, good iphone features, questionable durability

Switched to these from a pair of Shure SE115-ks (which were great headphones in their own right). The bass on this the HF3s is not as strong, but it more than makes up for it by being incredibly clear in the mids and highs. I am by no means an...
