Fidue A83

The Fidue A83 earphones deliver rich bass depth and crystalline highs, with perhaps more brightness than necessary, though overall performance is excellent.

Multiple drivers deliver a shimmering, rich audio experience with an emphasis on high-frequency clarity. Detachable cable. Hard shell protective travel case.

Expensive. No inline remote or mic. Only one cable included. Some will find the sound signature too bright.

Fidue's A83 earphones are a great in-canal earphone pair—their triple driver audio is highly detailed and robust in the lows. While the sound signature feels a little bright, the Comply tips can help the mix sound a little fuller and less extreme. That...

Fidue A83 Review: Technologically Advanced In-Ears

Tonally neutral across the range Audiophile-grade sonics Incredibly detailed Great build quality

Average looks Fit and comfort are iffy Not exciting and driven enough

We've had a decent amount of exposure to hybrid in-ears of late, and we're convinced that it's the way forward for earphones. Hybrid drivers make for an entertaining sound that is full of body, detail, and tonal balance. In the case of the dual-driver...

Fidue A83 In-ear Earphone Review

A new challenger appears in the earphone market and they mean business

Powerful and entertaining sound ; Good build ; Impressive sensitivity

Looks a matter of taste ; Massive case ; Can be slightly over lively.

The possibility that the Fidue was going to be sort of a 'greatest hits' of other earphones with no distinct personality of its own has thankfully turned out to be illusory. The A83 has some design aspects seen elsewhere but these have been combined...

Glamorous sound at a budget price

There's a special and much sought after sound signature I'd describe as "glamorous". The Sennheiser IE800 has it, the JH Audio Layla has it and -- at a much lower price point -- the Fidue A83 has it. I'm talking about that out of your head sparkly...

Sparkly highs, airy soundstage, interesting looks, price

Not truly outstanding at anything

Hybrid excellence - a beautifully zesty take on the triple hybrid sound

Fidue A83 – initial impressions I must admit, until recently I was not massively aware of Fidue and their offerings, bunching all of their IEMs together with the mid-range A71 and A65 models in my mind as some nice looking but middle of the road...

Bass (both mid and sub bass), masterful tuning, emotive midrange, crystal clear and crisp treble without any sibilance

Fit could be tighter, no neck cinch on the cable - nothing major sound-wise

Excellent IEMs

I am open to any suggestions or feedback about my writing or the way I present this review, and will try to improve based on any feedback you have. It was early December, 2014, when I lost my IEM due to a washing machine. Later that month, I believed I...

Introduction Well it's now time to review the Fidue A83, I have been using these earphones for 3 months straight and while I had issues at first it all ending very well, but more on that later. Firstly a bit about myself, I have been listening to Music...

Superman looks, Superman sound! The Fidue A83 Hybrid In-Ear Monitor

At the time this review was written, the Fidue A83 hybrid earphone was on sale for $279.99 USD on a major distribution/selling site (not to be named), and on Penonaudio.com for $339 USD. The Penon model comes with an extra MMCX cable with a microphone....

Hi-Fi sound, Outstanding resolution, Fantastic separation, Plays all genres extremely well, Great accessories

Memory wire makes putting them on a PITA, They are pricey for a universal IEM
