Grado SR325i Headphones

Very detailed presentation that puts you in the front row. Great quality and durability. Very dynamic presentation. Can be used with portable players. Construction allows you to lay them down flat for travel

Detailed presentation may be too much for some listeners. Forward-sounding balance might put some closer to the action than they are used to. Expensive. Need a good headphone amplifier to really be worth it

The top model in the Grado Prestige line is capable of serious jaw-dropping sonics, and they are built to last forever. If you can deal with a slightly hot top end and presentation that puts you right there, these may be your ideal headphones.

X-bit labs - Grado SR325i and Sennheiser HD 600: Professional Headphones Reviewed

In this review, we are going to discuss two headphones models from the top sector of the mass market: Grado SR325i and Sennheiser HD 600. It is interesting to compare these models with inexpensive products (we took a Grado SR80 for that) and also with...

The Sennheiser HD 600 should be commended for its ergonomics. These headphones sit firmly and comfortably on the head, providing some sound insulation. Their sound doesn't change much when the cups change the position slightly relative to your ears.

The Grado SR325i 'phones celebrate Grado's 50th anniversary with an upgraded driver design and just a touch of bling

Awesome sound fits price. No stray noise in the earphone chamber

Might be a bit too bling for some. If you're skint, turn away now

Grado SR325i

Expensive, but worth it as long as the rest of your system is up to scratch

Stunning clarity and detail resolution ; powerful bass performance

Comfort might be an issue for some, as might be the finish

Best home on-ear headphones ?150+, Awards 2011. For home use, these are stunning: open, detailed and full-bodied

Fast and attacking

Could dig deeper; some comfort issues

The sweetest sounds

Driven with a HiFiMAN EF2A USB Tube Headphone headphone Amp this is one sweet set of cans. The music is perfectly balanced. Delicate response, with nice tight base response. And I love the old-school design.

Brilliant sound, but some real design issues.

When I first got these the sound was rather tinny, but over the initial 50 hours they really, really opened up and grew to have a very natural sound. I have them paired with an HRT MS2+ and a Schiit Asgard, which is apparently a good match for Grados....

I owned a pair of grado sr80's previously to buying these. I loved my sr80's, but I was curious to try the higher end models. I was about to buy the sr225's, but decided to go all out and jump to the 325s. It was well worth it. After their burn in...
