Griffin EarJams

Get the bass thumping with the ingenious Griffin EarJams, headphone helpers that snap on to your iPod's earbuds to deliver big sound. EarJams work by creating a small resonating chamber on each earbud, which deepens the bass and amplifies the volume....

Review: Griffin EarThumps

When you see white earbuds, what comes to mind? Duh—Apple's iPod (or its ripoffs) and white earbuds go hand-in-hand, even if the iPod is not white, but blue, green, pink, gold, silver, or black. This automatically lets thieves know what you're...

Increased bass, more isolated than Apple's earbuds, inexpensive, color choices

Midrange and treble suffer

The EarThumps sound pretty good for the price—you can do a lot worse for $20.

Review - Griffin EarThumps Earphones

EarThumps are so named, I'm guessing, because of the deep bass they deliver. Deep bass. When I first tried these out, I was amazed at the amount of bass I was hearing, especially when compared to my somewhat tinny Altec Lansing OYOYO YO302WHT...

If the EarThumps were any more expensive, I'd probably drop them another rating point. But at $30, they're a great value. They're much better than Apple's earbud headphones, and they're just as convenient. They can be easily packed in any case built to...

Color coordinate your earphones and iPod

Great value at $19.99 for sound and function

Have to disconnect headphones from music device to store in case. Inserts highlight earwax on them

White headphone cords have become ubiquitous in this age of portable music players. The previously distinctive and bold white earphones are what the public expects to see. Following Apple’s release of black iPod products Griffin Technology followed s

Griffin EarJams – Review

As I stated in a review of another iPod Shuffle product, there was one primary reason that I finally joined the iPod craze and bought myself an iPod Shuffle. I run. Three or four times a week, I run 2 miles, sometimes a bit more if I'm really on a good...

Griffin EarJams (Updated)

But if you're familiar with different sorts of headphones and realize what Griffin is really trying to accomplish with the EarJams, the concept becomes only a step shy of great: in essence, EarJams attempt to convert Apple's free earbuds into Sony's...

Inexpensive way to add some isolation to Apple’s stock iPod earphones, and change their sound; EarJams resemble Sony’s popular MDR-EX71 headphones, include nice gray carry case

Not as comfortable as just using a pair of Sony’s headphones; changed sound is bass-heavy in an inexpensive and unimpressive way for listeners who prefer balanced audio response from headphones

Case

I hate these. I could have driven down the interstate and thrown $10 out the window and been mo,re satisfied than I am right now.

Forget the nice little case; The zipper broke the FIRST TIME I zipped it shut

Terrible quality

Best cheap investment in iPod headphones

The word must be out about these - I bought them on Newegg about 2 years ago and they were around $8. Now they're around $15?!?!?!?!

Tremendous improvement in bass response, nearly provides the sound quality of full-sized headphones, great for those of us with small ears as typical ear buds tend to fall out easily while these stay in place much better, some ambient noise isolation

The silicone fittings for the ear canals tend to come off easily, but a little daub of super glue fixes that. ;-), the plastic housing occasionally pops off the actual earbud, but again, super glue will take care of that

Mislead

Great packaging and easy to use

They are too fragile. I hope the material was much better

Not a bad set of earphones

Not bad at all for a pair that I personally picked up at an airport. Not much of a price difference.

Decent signal to noise ratio, good sound, and with the 3 different foam thingies for the ear buds, they should feel comfortable in most ears

The little carrying case. Big enough for the earbuds, not much else
