Sennheiser RS 170

The $279.95 Sennheiser RS 170 is a set of wireless headphones with a base unit that doubles as a transmitter and a battery charger. One of the nicest things a reviewer can say about wireless headphones is that they don't sound like wireless headphones,...

The Sennheiser RS 170 is a full-size set of headphones with Kleer wireless technology that delivers CD-quality sound.

The awkward placement of the controls on the right earcup may require a longer learning curve for some users, and the transmitter/charger base lacks digital inputs.

The RS 170 continues Sennheiser's unchanging dedication to sonic clarity and they're well worth the price for anyone looking to grab wireless sound from a TV, AV receiver, cable box, or game console.

A Wireless Headset : Sennheiser RS 170 WIreless Headset

b>Wireless technology has allowed users the freedom to work untethered with their keyboard and mouse. The same technology can also give greater freedom when listening to music.

With the volume set at a level for comfortable listening, it was possible to pick up some outside noise so you were not totally isolated from the world. This could prove useful if the phone or door bell demands your attention while listening to music

Wireless or Wired : Sennheiser RS 170 & Cyber Snipa Sonar 5 1 Championship

Headsets are very popular ways to listen, here a choice of two. The first both conventional and unconventional as it lets you roam as its Wireless. The second intended more for gaming means you are tethered buts its USB.

Until you try a wireless headphone set you do not know the extra freedom it gives you, you could make a cup of tea, fetch a book from another room or visit the loo while still listening to your favourite music from the living room. It is 20x23x9cm...

They annoy the BLEEP out of me and I am stuck with them.

I guess they sound good but it is hard to notice when I feel like WHIPPING them across the room and SMASHING them on the wall!
