Sennheiser RS 170

The $279.95 Sennheiser RS 170 is a set of wireless headphones with a base unit that doubles as a transmitter and a battery charger. One of the nicest things a reviewer can say about wireless headphones is that they don't sound like wireless headphones,...

The Sennheiser RS 170 is a full-size set of headphones with Kleer wireless technology that delivers CD-quality sound.

The awkward placement of the controls on the right earcup may require a longer learning curve for some users, and the transmitter/charger base lacks digital inputs.

The RS 170 continues Sennheiser's unchanging dedication to sonic clarity and they're well worth the price for anyone looking to grab wireless sound from a TV, AV receiver, cable box, or game console.

Sennheiser RS 170 Wireless Headphones

The revolution in wireless headphones.

High quality sound. Transmitter doubles as a battery charger for headphone batteries. The range of the wireless signal is pretty good. You can pair multiple headphones with single transmitter

Volume controls on the headphones takes a little getting used to

This headphone set provides the best quality you could expect from a wireless headphone set today. The transmitter is also highly useful as it provides the functionality of a charger as well. In addition, the transmitter can support up to four...

"Design flaws are shameful"

They annoy the BLEEP out of me and I am stuck with them.

I guess they sound good but it is hard to notice when I feel like WHIPPING them across the room and SMASHING them on the wall!

-buttons hard to tell when on or off

If you got the money, it's worth it.

Great Sound, comeic controls.

I\'ve used wireless headphones before and these are the best. The lack of hiss even when the input is paused is really impressive, I\'ve never seen (heard) the like of it. Surround sound is impressive... how did they do that with just two stereo...

Like a cyborg implant!

These are great! Solid construction, easy to setup. Batteries come pre-charged, so first charge isn\'t that long at all! Sounds great, which is most important of course, and easy to wear. I can walk around while listening to tv or music with no issues....
