Budget Headphone Roundup

We're in the age of the celebrity headphone. Everyone from Jay-Z to Quincy Jones to, um, Snooki has headphone deals now. Those celebrity endorsement deals don't come cheap, which is why it's common to see certain brands costing several hundred dollars....

Deep bass. Thick foam earpads are very comfortable

Muddy midrange. Inline mic/remote is flaky. Feels fragile. Color schemes are a bit gimmicky

Each of the three headphones we tested had different sonic strengths, but Nu-Force’s balanced, punchy sound and minimal styling kept the best beat.

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

Very good

These things have some amazing sound that you wound'nt really expect from them. i was Thoroughly suprised and impressed ; and it has a nice a sturdy cord

the only bad thing really about them is where the ear pieces connect to the head band is made of plastic and is a little weak

Best Gift Ever

I wanted new headphones for our away games, and my mom got me these for my birthday. Happy birthday to me!!! They're so comfortable, lightweight, and so inexpensive. Unbelievably good for such a low price. All my friends want them!
