Jabra BT8010 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

A good companion for music phones, the Jabra BT8010 rocks an innovative convertible design for use as a wireless headset or stereo headphones.

Clever convertible design ; Long battery life ; Can pair multiple devices simultaneously ; Clear, loud stereo sound

A little bulky ; Relatively weak microphone ; No rewind controls

Jabra BT8010 review: Jabra BT8010

It wasn't too long ago that stereo Bluetooth was a rarity in most cell phones. Now, thanks to the popularity of music phones, stereo Bluetooth has become increasingly prevalent in most multimedia handsets. While regular Bluetooth (or Bluetooth 1.0)...

The Jabra BT8010 can be converted into a stereo headset by connecting a second earpiece. The OLED display shows caller ID, plus you can use it to scroll through phone contacts. You also can use it as a remote control for a Bluetooth-enabled music player.

The Jabra BT8010 is bigger than most Bluetooth headsets and has a rather large earpiece that may not fit comfortably in smaller ears.

The Jabra BT8010 can be converted from a mono Bluetooth headset into a stereo one with a second earpiece. Other innovative design features such as an OLED display, a jog dial, and a simple on/off slider makes this one of the best Bluetooth headsets out...

Jabra BT8010 Bluetooth Headset

This unique device fuses a Bluetooth headset with wireless stereo headphones--but it falls short in the design department.

Bluetooth headset, wireless headphones in one; less expensive than buying both devices separately; bright OLED display

Bulky, cumbersome design; earpieces too large for small ears

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

Review: Jabra BT8010

Read on for a full review of the new Jabra BT8010, including a hands-on video. Despite some nasty PPC compatibility issues, the BT8010 just might be the best Bluetooth

Innovative "dual-use" design, Nice display, Good sound quality and range, Easy to operate

Hijacks all sound on some PPC Devices, May be too bulky for some

The BT8010 is great headset in design, sound quality, and in the fact that it innovatively combines a nice phone headset with a nice set of stereo headsets. I wholeheartedly recommend the BT8010 to WM5 Smartphone users, but for PPC-edition users it is...

"5 Years Later, it's still my BEST bluetooth"

I've owned the Jabra BT8010 for 5 years. Think about that. 5 YEARS. And it still works perfectly - amazing flexibility, high sound quality, Star-Trek techno-geek functionality and more features. I believe the size is both a curse and blessing - it's...

+ great for phone AND music

- BIG as a single Bluetooth

Surprised and Happy

I wasn't expecting a lot from this model. I've had inner ear BT before, and even a inner ear with a hook. None seem have matched the volume and clarity this one has. I've never purchased a $100 unit either. But I have spent $50 or so. I got this one...

outside the ear (preference), Loud speaker, easy to use, responsive volume wheel, decent button layout, and decent options (IF you have the right device). Connects to multiple devices, and gives cell priority

Noise reduction might not be the best, but rather nice for the price of this model. It's about as good as any model i've purchased at double or the price. (triple the price, i got it on a nice special here)

Best one yet.

This is the best bluetooth I have owned. Sometimes I forget I am even wearing it. It actually sounds like I am holding the phone to my ear. If you are looking for a bluetooth that you will be happy with don't get fooled into buying a jawbone or...

Great sound on both ends. Music is loud. Connects to phone and ipod

Refurb - but still great

For the price this is still an incredible deal. The stereo adapter would be nice, but then it would presumably be much more expensive. I use this all day at work to listen to music on my ATT Tilt. The range is excellent, but even close it sometimes...

Loads of features, great sound and battery life (8+ hours streaming music), no complaints from callers

Non standard charger connector, not terribly comfortable (but it is adjustable / bendable, and can be used on both ears by flipping the hook and rotating it). My unit has refurb stamped on it, not mentioned in the item description. It is compatible...

Great for the Money

Hard to beat this type of headset for the money and Newegg's service continues to be great.

Simple to operate, great range and good sound quality (clear & loud with volume up). I use this for my car & the occasional run - the sound is exceptional, even with the cell phone in my pocket or jacket

Getting this headset situated on your ear properly will take a bit, but after I used it a few times, this was no longer a real issue. Also, the answer button can rattle a little during my runs.. but I can only hear it if the volume is down low
