JayBird Gear BlueBuds X

JayBird Gear's BlueBuds X are the company's top-of-the-line Bluetooth wireless in-ear headphone model, and they're one of the better pairs of wireless sports headphones I've used. Outstanding? Well, that depends on how good a fit you get, but I have no...

The JayBird Gear BlueBuds X Bluetooth wireless earphones have a compact, lightweight design, fit securely, and sound good for Bluetooth headphones. They're also sweat-resistant and have an inline remote and microphone for making calls.

They're expensive and their cord management system is a little kludgy. Also, they may not fit everyone equally well -- and a tight seal is imperative for getting better sound quality.

The Jaybird BlueBuds X are impressively small wireless sports earphones that offer a secure fit -- but the $170 price just feels too high.

"Dont Buy! They have broke on me numerous times."

I purchased these headphones for athletics from running to weight lifting. They have had nothing but problems. My first pair broke after 2 months of use and the replacement pair broke around 2 months as well. The green light when fully charged would...

Great sound. Works well when they work.

Go to summary.

"These are the earphones to get. And this is why.."

I don't like these harsh harsh reviews. Yes, they had defective units. I had the jf3s and one earpiece turned off exactly one year when the warranty ended. I got half my money back in store credit. My first pair of bluebuds the charge would last 5...

Light, sound fantastic, easy to use, they fit good, very stylish.

Fragile like their previous model the JF3. Some are defective, issues with sound quality. Battery may not last 8 hrs. Battery depletion anxiety syndrome, BDAS, or badass. I feel pretty badass wearing these.

"Not as advertised"

After months of irritation with my iPhone's stock earbuds, I decided to upgrade to a pair of bluetooth buds. My primary motivation was ridding myself of the pesky cord that was always getting caught on everything as I got on and off the subway. I did a...

"Poor fit, poor customer service and poor quality"

JB promotes the BlueBudsX to be sweat proof but I found them to be anything but and what looked like a great solution ended up being a disappointment. I experienced a number of failures with the BlueBudsX through regular use in the gym and had to...

"Good sound, easy to use, great functionality."

Easy to use, comfortable for several hours.

High price tag. Highly dependant on their fit with your ears and the equipment they are connecting to. The headphones work perfectly, just other factors can make their functionality appear worse than it should.

"Comfortable headphones w/ surprisingly good crisp sound"

After reading multiple reviews, I'm concerned about the number of reports for these headphones just randomly dying...?

Lightweight, Good Bass, Smart Controls, Easy Pairing.

Price point is at least $30 too high. Check all variations of ear bud fitting. Some folks just can't keep the snug fit required to experience top end sound quality.

"2nd Pair from JB, lasted 3 months! Not sweat proof!"

When I bought these, I had really high hopes (given the price) but they failed just as the first pair did. No response from customer service, nothing.

Decent Sound, if you wear something to keep them pressed into your skull. Decent battery life for the first 3 months, now they do not charge.

Poor Design - ear hooks slide off when they get sweaty - completely defeating the purpose of them being there.

"Worst Bluetooth ever if you move, sweat, or have hair."

These are the WORST Bluetooth headphones I have ever bought. I had the previous version of Jaybird's stereo Bluetooth headphones, (with the ear hooks) and they were Excellent. But these new "Bluebuds" SUCK! Why? Because they have no hooks that hold the...

They deliver sound to your ears.

They fall out of your ears, thus stopping the sound. There is no hook to hold ear buds in place. So if you move, around a lot, (which is the whole point of having wireless anything) you will have to constantly pop these back in your ear.
