Sound amazing !!!!!!!!!! Especially for the price of FREE !!!!!!!!!!!

These sound awesome. I got them with my receiver Yamaha RX-V379 5.1-Channel Network AV receiver as a free gift which incidentally filled out my 5.1 sound system. I already had bought the two tower speakers and center channel from newegg previously.

Good sound, a bit pricy though

I got these for use on my computer (they are magnetically shielded). I thought I could get by without a subwoofer, but no such luck here. There is some bass, but it's better off being EQ'd as the mid's and high's of the system for best results. I had a...

These have a smooth sound made better by using an external EQ, For clean mid's and high's these are great, Build quality, Small size.

Not nearly as bass heavy as the specs make it out to be and a subwoofer is definitely needed here.

Sorely disappointed.

$44.00, so for someone with a tin ear....sure. Get em on sale only.

Cheap on sale. Not terrible speakers but I gave it 1 star because the description waaaay oversold them.

Very "hollow" sound with no body to mid range and anemic bass. Dense arrangements sound like a mess. These can play acoustic and "clean" sounds in pop/rock etc. VAST, NIN, Strokes all sound ridiculous. Careful placement can help bass reproduction quite...

Great for computer use

Excellent sound especially for the $44 I spent. I'm driving these with a Parasound Zamp which outputs 40 watts RMS per channel. More than enough power for near field computer use. What impresses me most is the bass response. To me it sounds like the...

Loft 40!

Break 'em in. Really nice, warm sound. Some real bass. For the price, with no sub woofer, unbeatable. Arrived in less than 24 hours. These are at cost. Buy 'em.

10 to 19 hour break in time..

Excellent addition

I bought these to use as sides in my 6.1 setup. They compliment the fronts and rears very nicely, and hold their own with the rest of the system. The sides aren't supposed to draw your attention like the mains, and these do their part to...

Tight, crisp, and clear.

Great speakers!

I am using 2 of these for my front height speakers in a 9.2 setup driven by my Marantz SR7008 and they sound great! No complaints. The range is excellent and they blend perfectly with the rest of my setup.

Great range.
