JBL Quantum One Review

Strong audio and microphone performance ; Head tracking ; Programmable lighting

Expensive ; Modest bass ; Tiny, limited chat mixer ; Underwhelming noise cancellation

The JBL Quantum One wired gaming headset features active noise cancellation and head tracking, but its performance doesn't quite match its price.

JBL Quantum One review

Active-noise cancelling and 7.1 surround sound? This is a premium gaming headset

Strong gaming and music performance ; Active-noise cancelling ; 7.1 surround sound ; Super comfortable ear cups ; Clean, easy-to-use software

Too heavy ; Plastic ; Expensive

The JBL Quantum One packs powerful audio backed by active-noise cancelling and 7.1 surround sound. Combined with pleathery comfort, it’s a winner.

JBL Quantum ONE Review

The JBL Quantum ONE are a decent pair of wired gaming headphones. They're the current flagship model of JBL's range of Quantum-branded gaming headsets and have q...

Good overall microphone performance. ANC does a decent job of blocking out background chatter. Wired compatibility with all gaming setups. Companion app provides a large array of configuration options. Very well-balanced sound profile.

Listening experience is inconsistent and heavily dependent on fit and positioning. Bulky gaming-oriented design. Lack of call/music controls. Unstable fit. Total lack of wireless compatibility.

The JBL Quantum ONE are decent for neutral sound. They offer well-reproduced bass, mids, and treble, so your entire listening experience will be well-balanced, with no part of the mix overwhelming another. This can be further adjusted with a graphic EQ...

[UPDATED] JBL Quantum ONE review: Great sounding flagship gaming headset with head tracking

Our JBL Quantum ONE review takes a look at the flagship of the gaming headset line which features 7.1 surround sound audio with head tracking sensors.

Aggressive gaming headphone design ; Excellent sound quality ; Head-tracking works great when used with larger monitors ; Comfortable headband and ear cushions ; ANC and Talkthru work great ; Decent microphone quality while TT or sidetone is disabled ;...

Takes some time to properly configure them ; Head tracking is only really useful with larger monitors ; Head tracking option only available on PC ; Microphone works best with sidetone off ; Heavy after extended sessions ; No wireless connectivity ;...

Review: JBL Quantum One | Everything You Might Want – And Then Some JBL Quantum One

JBL debuts on the gaming scene with a surefire winner.

Everything is top notch: The audio quality, the 3D simulation, the lights and the number of features. And automatic noise cancellation is a winner.

Setup can be tricky. The USB cable is incredibly unwieldy.

JBL Quantum One gives you everything you’d expect from a gaming headset — and then some more in the form of ANC. The sound is top notch, the 3D surround sound actually works, there’s a plethora of features and settings and there are three RGB light...

JBL Quantum One review

The JBL Quantum One gaming headset offers a comfy fit and good sound quality — for a high price.

At $300, the Quantum One is tough to recommend, although if you can stomach the price, it’s not at all a bad headset. What’s more interesting to me, though, is JBL’s whole upcoming line of headsets, which start at $40 and comprise more than...

JBL Quantum One Gaming Headset review: Great sound, rich features

JBL's flagship gaming headset comes packed with plenty of features, more than most others. Is it a standout? We find out!

Great audio quality and accurate positional audio ; Works with both PC and consoles ; ANC and integrated USB audio mixer help it stand out from the crowd

Head-tracking tech doesn't confer much benefit and has the tendency to drift from the centre ; Subpar microphone ; Most features aren't supported on console ; Expensive

Review: JBL Quantum One gaming headset

Quantum is JBL's new range of gaming headsets. And the top of the line model is the JBL Quantum One. Priced at just short of $500, it ought to be pretty

First class sound;Good microphone;Good processing software;Comfortable

JBL Quantum One Gaming Headset Review: Attempting a Quantum Leap

Feature-rich, but 3D audio head tracking disappoints.

Clear, crisp gaming audio ; Many features ; Luxurious leather ear cushions ; Sturdy, braided USB-A and 3.5mm cables ; USB-A, 3.5mm or USB-C connection means flexibility ; Game-chat dial ; Good software

Expensive ; Teenage design choices ; Head tracking has minimal impact

JBL’s first flagship gaming headset is comfy and feature-rich, but its head tracking doesn’t earn the $300 price tag.
