sound good; looks ugly

i'm not an audiophile, but these sound good to me. the only complaint would be the length of the cord (way too long) and the ear buds are connected in a J-shape. that means one side is longer than the other. if u don't mind (i thought i didn't, but...

Great for the price!

I bought these headphones after my ears got sore from the white headphones that Creative includes with their mp3 players (which seem abnormally large). These are comfortable, don't fall out and have great sound.

Major problem

Replacement buds (the inner ear plastic part) cost 10.81 plus shipping from JVC and are back ordered. \n \nThey fall off and get lost in normal use and are unobtainable except from JVC. \n \nBuy something else. \n \nZERO STARS.

Excellent!

Note: When you take these out of the box, plug them in and listen to them, they may sound bad. These type of earbuds need what is called burn-in, so that the dynamic drivers used will loosen up and thus sound better. 8 hours minimum. \n \nAfter burning...

These are SOLID ear buds!

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. I was in professional radio for 10+ years, and have used the highest-end headphones available...and these JVC ear buds come pretty close to those closed-ear headphones I used for years. They work...

Very sturdy construction; cord doesn't wear out. The 'buds come with several sizes of caps. Solid bass response; very good high-end as well. Works great with my 5G iPod. Cord is just long enough. 'Buds do not slip out of my ears...ever. For the price,...
