JVC HA RX900

 

The HA-RX900 is certainly the big boy of the group compared with the dimensions of other over-ear contenders from Sony , Sennheiser , Panasonic and Audio-Technica .

The JVC HA-RX900 is an affordable headphone with a comfortable fit and smooth performance on rock, jazz and classical music.

The bulky design and superlong cord aren't suited for travel, and the lack of low-end boost will likely disappoint fans of bass heavy genres.

The JVC HA-RX900 is an excellent over-ear model that will impress listeners shopping for a low-cost headphone to use at work or in the office.

While the JVC HA-RX900s have decent audio quality they don't impress at the end of the day.

The JVC HA-RX900s are about as middle-of-the-road as they come.

"Big in sound and style."

 

Despite the faults these are a great pair of headphone that you can get for a steal. The last time I bought a pair of headphones this good was 6 years ago and I paid close to $200. Which I was still using until these came. So fast forward 6 years and...

1. The sound out of the box is great and will only get better with age.

1. They do sit tight on the ears and what they used for the headphone liner tends to make you ears a bit warm.

1. The sound out of the box is great and will only get better with age. 2. Though 12.3 oz seem heavy, they really don't feel it in fact they remained comfortable for long periods. 3. They do a great job of keeping the music inside the head phones.

1. They do sit tight on the ears and what they used for the headphone liner tends to make you ears a bit warm. 2. The cord is to long to make them mobile and they did not come with a case.

Comfortable, sounds good

 

JVC needs to make better covers. Previously, I had an AKG headset that lasted over 20 years w/o any real wear on the ear covers.

I haven't finished the burn in time yet on them that most say they need to be good, out of the box they are pretty awesome so I can only imagine they will be even better.

Budget friendly and sounds as good as many of the most expensive models/brands, extremely comfortable
