Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger

The HyperX Cloud Stinger is one of the most capable wired gaming headsets you can buy for under $50.

Comfortable. Strong audio performance for the price. Good microphone.

Weak in extreme low and high frequencies.

The Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is an affordable wireless headset that offers very satisfying performance for the price. It's one of the best sub-$50 headsets out there, and feels very comfortable on the head. If you can spare an additional $20, you...

HyperX Cloud Stinger review: Solid entry-level audio is cheaper than ever

HyperX might have just undercut its widely acclaimed $100 Cloud headset with this $50 budget entry.

Solid, mid-heavy sound ; HyperX finally adds volume/mic controls on the headset itself ; Extremely inexpensive

Audio not as rich as the more expensive HyperX Cloud ; Weak microphone ; Comfy, but a bit cheap feeling

You’ve probably noticed the same refrain throughout this review: “The Cloud Stinger is good, .” And that’s true. These cans won’t stand up next to competitors two or three times the price, either in sound or in comfort. Hell, the Stinger doesn’t even...

HyperX Cloud Stinger review: Decent, affordable, versatile gaming headphones

The HyperX Cloud Stinger is a versatile, decent sounding, and comfortable gaming headset that won't break the bank.

Comfortable, lightweight design. Crisp and clear sound. Great mic/voice quality. Very affordable

Non-removable mic, lacking on the bass end of the sound scale

The HyperX Cloud Stinger is definitely a versatile, decent sounding, and comfortable gaming headset that won't break the bank.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review

Kingston's line of HyperX gaming headsets is one of the best in the industry. The HyperX Cloud 2 is one of the top gaming headsets available. The Cloud Revolvers deliver excellent sound through 50 mm drivers and signature comfort via memory foam ear...

The Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is a solid buy at its $50 price tag. It has a lightweight and comfortable feel and a quality design. We would not hesitate to recommend this product to parents with a young gamer in need of a basic headset for extended...

HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset

When you think of gaming headsets, inexpensive doesn't figure into the equation. If something is cheap, it usually means poor quality. This doesn't need to be the case, though. Enter Kingston's HyperX Cloud Stinger. This $50 headset promises to deliver...

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Review (Page 1 of 4)

A few weeks back, I was driving home after a long day at work. I was waiting in a left turn lane, when I peered over my shoulder and spotted a girl singing and dancing in her car while waiting at the red light. I felt like I knew who she was, but I...

If I could summarize the Kingston HyperX Cloud headsets we have reviewed previously, it could be done in three points. First is good build quality. Second is a comfortable fit, no matter the weight or size. Third is solid audio performance....

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Review: Clouded Sound

For $50, you can't expect the moon and stars in a gaming headset; you just want something competent and comfortable. In those respects, the Cloud Stinger delivers. The gaming and music performance won't leave you in aural awe, but they're clear and...

Inexpensive ; Comfortable ; Smooth setup

So-so audio ; No extra features ; Unimpressive mic

The Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger is a mildly stylish and extremely comfortable gaming headset, but the audio is nothing special.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review

The headset is the HyperX Cloud Stinger, which is only 275 grams, has 50 mm directional drivers, Kingston's HyperX memory foam earcups, swivel-to-mute noise

– Lightweight design ; – Very comfortable ; – Clean and precise sound ; – Adjustable microphone ; – Price

I have been using the Cloud Stinger for a couple of weeks now as my main headset. So this means I have been using with my main PC at home as well as with my laptop. I have been playing a lot of Star Wars Battlefront and DOOM with the headset. The sound...

HyperX Cloud Stinger

The Cloud Stinger is HyperX's newest addition to its headset line, priced at the rather cheap £49.99. The Stinger fuses an attractive design with easy-to-use adjustment features, and is super-comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions.

A fantastic budget headset that delivers great audio quality and a comfortable design.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset Review

In an increasingly saturated peripheral market, HyperX are hoping their new Cloud Stinger can become the ‘go-to' headset if you are on a budget. Priced at £49.99, it comes in cheaper than the acclaimed Cloud and Cloud II headsets while keeping familiar...

Attractively priced.

Construction does feel a bit plasticky.

If you absolutely cannot spend more than £50 on a headset, we are happy to recommend the Cloud Stinger wholeheartedly. However, if your budget can be pushed that bit further, you may thank yourself down-the-line by going for the Cloud II instead.
