Klipsch Custom-2

Klipsch is a relatively new player in the headphone game, but its reputation as a high-end speaker manufacturer dates back to the 1940s. Building on the success of the company's knockout Image X10 earphones, the Klipsch Custom line delivers impressive...

The Klipsch Custom 2 in-ear headphones offer full and detailed sound, rugged construction, tangle-resistant cables, multiple ear tips, and effective noise isolation.

The Klipsch Custom 2 headphones are relatively large, lack foam ear tips, and touch more of your ear than traditional consumer earphones.

If you're looking for a stylish pair of in-ear headphones that can stand up to daily abuse and provide rich sound, the Klipsch Custom 2 are hard to beat.

Klipsch Custom-2 sound-isolating earphones review

Clearly great sub-£100 earphones for jazz, soul and vocal genre lovers. If it's music that can be performed live without any amplification, electronics or mixing desks, it's probably suitable for the Custom-2s

Performance with certain musical genres ; Exceptionally warm sound ; Excellent build quality

Design won't suit all ears ; High-end frequencies aren't stellar

An obvious alternative, if you can afford it, are the Custom-3s. They rectify every sonic 'problem' mentioned in this review, and add a whopping bass and treble extension. Also consider the Denon AH-C751s for an almost opposite sound quality, or the...

Klipsch Custom-2 earphones

One of the most common accessories we all own are earphones or headphones. I've always preferred headphones – I find earphones too intrusive and uncomfortable. That's why I was interested in having a look at Klipsch's Custom-2 earphones – at $299.00...

External sound blocking, highly comfortable, sound quality

Cord tangles easily

If you’re a true audiophile, the Custom-2 earphones are probably not quite there – the Custom-3 ($399) or Image ($499) may cover your needs more fully. If you’re a die-hard daily music listener with an ear for quality, then you may want to fork out the...

"Sound Great, Died in about a year :("

So I have LOVED my Custom-2s for about a year now. The sound quality is by far the best Ive had (although, the only comparisons I have are the Bose TriPorts and cheapo $20 kinds). I listen to them almost constantly: between classes, on public...

Sound AWESOME: nice, balanced bass & quality mids/highs too, relatively comfortable

DIED IN A YEAR (sound like theyre underwater, its some sort of filtering effect cuz the bass is still good), If you lose the the tips that fit you you're f*ed

"Good fit, good bass, cord a little noisy."

For the price, I think these are outstanding values but I haven't worked out with them yet to determine if the cord noise will be distracting.

I got these to replace some er-6i's that I wore out. So far, these don't isolate as well, but the sound clarity is terrific.

One complaint about the cord, the covering is kind of noisy when listening at low volumes. The case doesn't quite fit perfectly as the plugs are set off at almost right angle. The zipper on the case doesn't always zip and I have to self repair it.

"Best fitting most ergonomic earbuds I've ever used."

If these earbuds had deeper bass and the "kinking" problem was fixed I would continue to buy over and over again.Want them to work so bad. i love the custom 3's But those are too expensive for daily buds!

Fit like a charm, the stiff moldable ends work perfectly.Nice mid range.

Sound is average, cable above the split is prone kinks causing the copper wire to poke through.

"great price, great sound excellent build"

I am pretty picky as to what I put into my ears, so I really looked high and low for a product in the $200 to $300 range. I auditioned around ten units and read almost every review out thereon earphones in that price range. There are quite a few out...

You can tell this is a step up with the two balanced armatures, sounds evensteven and not laid back.

Hard to see the lettering for Right and Left. blends in with the color of the of the body of the airphone.

"Wonderful Headphones"

I'm new to premium headphones, but despite lack of experience with them, I am very satisfied with these. Though not without flaws, these are very solid headphones with great sound quality. They excel especially with sounds in the mid- and...

Great sound quality with good balance, Quite comfortable, Build seems sturdy and well-constructed

Could be uncomfortable to some, over-the-ear memory wire should be optional

"Amazing Clarity"

If your looking for a pair of headphones that allows you to listen to music in quiet at work while not bothering your co-workers this is the set for you. The quality is there and the sound quality sell it more than anything else. remember to take the...

Great Highs, Great Mids. Lows very nice but only with modifications to your equlizer and getting proper seal in your ears. The quality of the soundstage is great for the price. Blocks out large amount of sound.

The wrap over the ears's style takes some getting used to. Break in period with finding the right combination of settings and ear gels takes time.

Good Product at a Fair price.

I use when I am on the treadmill and they met my expectations. Correct ear bud fit is essential to being sastisfied with product. I am pleased.
