Klipsch Image X7i (Black)

Over the years, Klipsch's Image S4 line of sub-$100 earphones has received very positive reviews from CNET editors. The newer S4 II , S4i II (for iOS devices), and S4A II (for Android devices) look and sound the same as the original S4 but have a new...

The comfortable Klipsch Image X7i in-ear headphones have sleek and durable ceramic earpieces, offer good, clean sound with lots of detail, and feature the same tangle-resistant flat cord found on the step-down S4i II model. An integrated Apple-friendly...

Bass lovers probably won't be satisfied by the amount of bass; inline-remote features aren't compatible with most non-Apple smartphones.

While their price is a little too steep, the X7i earphones are slick-looking and comfortable, and deliver clean, detailed sound.

Klipsch Image S4A for Android (Black)

The Image S4A Headphones for Android join a solid pack of headphones in Klipsch's S4 product catalog, beginning with the original Image S4 in-ear headphones , followed by the S4i headphones for iOS devices . The S4A are the company's first earbuds...

The Klipsch S4A Headphones for Android earn our favor with powerful 8.5mm drivers, comfortable ear tips, and an accompanying Android app that smartphone owners can use to remap the in-line remote controls.

The headphones perform inconsistently on devices running Android 2.1 and lower.

Klipsch's ultracomfortable, noise-isolating ear tips are just one of the reasons I love and recommend the S4-series headphones. If you're an Android user shopping for a new pair of earbuds, the Image S4A headphones are definitely worth the $99.

Klipsch's first entry into the headphone market gets a lot of help from the fact that it's marketed as “the world's smallest high-performance earphones.” They are indeed impressively small and lightweight — each earbud takes up less than two hundredths...

Extremely comforable; good bass and sonic detail; cabling designed to prevent tears

Expensive; you can hear cable thump when walking or running

The world's smallest earbuds prove that less costs more, but these smartly designed cans are worth it.

Klipsch Image Earphones Review

while out and about.

Excellent noise isolation ; Amazing bass extension ; Incredibly small, lightweight and comfortable

Expensive ; Higher priced than an iPod Touch ; Only available in black

There were actually times while listening to the Klipsch Image earphones that I could swear I felt a kick drum in my chest, much like I would while listening to large speakers paired with a great subwoofer. That is how great the low end is on these...

"Great sound IF they fit."

I started reading earbud reviews when I decided to get new ones and was puzzled by the inconsistent opinions of people reviewing the same product. One says great sound but the next says terrible sound. One says overpowering bass and the next says...

Good Sound, Android controls

Straight headphone plug, thin wires

"Excellent value, comfort, and clear balanced sound!"

From what I expected from the review on cnet and others I have read, I was expecting some nicely decent headphones. I am an audiophile from a musician family, beautiful sounds are just a staple of life. For this pricepoint, these are the best sounding...

Super comfortable (honestly way more than I expected), very clear and balanced sound for pricepoint and earbuds (once again, beyond expectation), light weight, aesthetically appealing

Tips are so comfortable you will spend time repeatedly switching tips to try and find out which are best.

Consumer review by:

"Audiophiles will not be pleased"

How did they give this such a high rating? I have $20 Sony headphones that produce the same sound quality. The voice gets muddy along with some of the background instruments as soon as you turn up the volume a bit. Audiophiles will not be satisfied...

Controls are good, bass is good

Highs are incredibly muddy as you turn up the volume.
