Klipsch Image X10i

Long before Klipsch brought audio nirvana to the masses with the sub-$100 Image S4, the company was still carving out its headphone reputation for a far more discerning audience with a line of earbuds that tread knee deep into triple digits: the Image...

Outstanding bass, treble, clarity and imaging ; Incredibly lightweight and small ; Five comfortable ear tips deliver superb fit ; Built-in mic and three-button remote

Midrange can sound slightly buried ; Average mic out of place on high-end headphones

A three-button remote and built-in microphone give the Klipsch Image X10i even more utility than their respected predecessors, without sacrificing sound quality.

Klipsch Image X10i

At $349.99 (direct), the Klipsch Image X10i is a serious investment; but this earphone pair with built-in iPhone controls, however, is well worth the price. The biggest boon here is an incredibly lightweight design that allows for a secure fit without...

Excellent audio performance. Lightweight and secure fit. "Works with iPhone"-certified

Expensive. Flatter response; not for heavy-bass lovers. Some cable thump

Klipsch's Image X10i isn't the cheapest pair of mic-equipped earphones you can find, but an excellent listening experience, solid design, and seamless iPhone operation make it well worth the price.

Klipsch Image X10i (Copper)

The Klipsch Image X10i headphones are extremely comfortable and feature superslim, tiny earpieces. They offer exceptionally clear and balanced audio, with good bass response and a reasonable amount of passive sound isolation. A module integrated into...

The Klipsch Image X10i headphones are expensive and the wire is thin and tangle-prone.

The Klipsch Image X10i headphones are a great option for iPhone and iPod owners who listen mainly to lossless audio.

Klipsch Image X10

Companies such as Shure and Etymotic have found success with high-end earbuds, and now Klipsch--best known for its loudspeakers--is taking a stab at the market with its line of supercompact Image in-ear headphones. The Image headphones reviewed here...

Supercomfortable, tiny, in-ear headphones; block outside noise; excellent sound quality with strong bass; include pocket storage case and larger zippered carrying case; iPhone-compatible 3.5mm plug.

Expensive; tangle-prone wires.

The pricey Klipsch Image in-ear headphones combine rich sound with superior comfort.

Klipsch Image X10i In-Ear Headphones - 349.99

For the X10i earbuds, Klipsch uses an exclusive full-range armature micro-speaker with a tuned bass-reflex system. A lot of the more high-end headphone, even earbuds, use multi-drivers. Klipsch states the frequency response is from 5Hz to 19kHz. I wish...

The Klipsch Image X10i headphones are the best looking, most comfortable wearing, and best-sounding ear buds I have ever used, including some that were molded to my ears. As I learned at this year’s CanJam, there are many more high-end phones than I...

Review: Klipsch Image X10 Earphones

Though Klipsch picked a copper accent tone for Image-a love-it-or-hate-it color that the company has associated for some time with its products-the rest of the earpieces' design is unquestionably appealing. This isn't a Shure earphone that nestles...

From our perspective, the only sticking point is Image's price to performance ratio. Q-JAYS, which we reviewed at a $179 suggested retail price back when exchange rates were far better than today, is still available for street prices of $175 and up,...

"Not worth $350, $250, but $90?"

The X10 are very very small. You will be surprised how such a small set of earphones delivers such high quality sounds with ample bass.

Clean controlled punchy bass

Crazily priced at $350

"Sonic heaven in a small unit."

I think at this price point, not one headphone could be better than the others, just different.

Klipsch is a respected name in the audiophile age, now they impress again in the portable music source age.

Pricey!! They could have used better cables with a fabric wrap. But hey, it really sounds good so it's almost a non issue. The warranty is reassuring.

"Good in comfort, Excellent sounding with Punchy Bass"

Gud in comfort

Remote and Mic designed to use only with for Apple products

Consumer review by:

"Amazing sound and comfort"

Great product, I recommend it to anyone who puts sound quality before anything else. And they're so lightweight you'll be wondering if you're wearing them or not.

Great sound, extreme comfort, lightness, good noise-reduction, design, tangle-free cable, accessories. Deep-bass but great treble too.

slightly expensive, curved stereo jack may not be as long-lived as a straight, regular one, especially if you're using the headphones with an Iphone/iPod touch that goes in the pocket.
