Koss SB49

VoIP headsets offer high quality audio and a comfortable fit. See where the Koss SB49 ranks in our review of the best VoIP headsets.

The speaker frequency range is ideal for all audio applications, the microphone has the best frequency response range among headsets we reviewed, and it has a lifetime warranty

There isn't acoustic shock protection, and it lacks a wireless option

When it comes to performing audio, the Koss SB49 is among the best VoIP headsets because it has the all-day comfort and the wide frequency response range to provide high-quality audio. However, it lacks acoustic shock protection and a wireless option.

Excellent value

They're cheap, they're adequate for gaming, and for me they have held up well over time. Sure there are better headsets out there, but they're much more expensive. If you want a decent headset for not much money, this is a good bet

None really. For the price they're excellent

Just don't.

These things are a pain to wear, literally. If you've got a big head, trust me, do not buy these. They've given me headaches quite often simply because they're too small and unflexible. The padding is not suitable, it's on par with the freebie...

Okay sound quality ; Long cable ; Inline volume control is sometimes useful

Really, really uncomfortable ; Microphone is pretty poor quality ; Snapped in two a few months after purchase

Good Quality for the price

Totally worth the money if you are looking for some gaming headphones on a budget.

These phones are inexpensive and sound great. I use mine for gaming via Mumble and everyone says they can hear me loud and clear. The 8 ft cable is amazing because its got 2 feet on the standard 6 most cabled headphones have

The only complaint I have is they do make my head hurt after a while. When you first get them they are very tight to your head (my face is long and tall not very wide) but the more often you wear them they ease up, stretch out a bit and feel more...

one year later

Price for the performance gained is excellent. Not a brand I usually favor, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent sound: quality & clarity. Has the mid-bass response that so many "bass-boosted" gimmick headphones (and 2.1s) lack. Integrated volume control. Good mic

Can be uncomfortable with glasses until broken in ; Cord is a bit fragile @ the volume connector. Mine is clearly on it's last legs after about one year of ownership - time to break out the soldering iron

Great Cheap Headset

I bought this because I was sick of buying cheap ear buds that sound terrible and only last a few weeks before breaking. When listening to these it feels like I'm listening to my music for the first time all over again

This headset was great when I first got it shipped to my door. and 1 month later it is still like brand new. the sound is great, and the microphone is decent. This headset is also very comfortable to wear, I can wear it for hours and not get irritated

The boom for the microphone is sort of flimsy, if you move your head too fast left or right the microphone wobbles around, which can be annoying when you are recording. Also this has a tenancy to pull my hair when I take it off

Used in classroom setting

I had no problems with the headphone. The sound was clear and they worked whenever I plugged them into a computer.

Easy to Use

High quality headset

Very happy with my purchase.High quality sound, and recorded sound from the microphone is very clear, with a short pickup and noise suppression so background sounds are not recorded. The only downside is the microphone arm is a little flimsy. Not been a...
