Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless headset

Logitech's ClearChat PC Wireless headset is lightweight, comfortable, and sounds good.

Adjustable boom ; Plug-and-play ; Comfortable

Not Bluetooth ; buzzy” audio quality ; USB dongle occupies available port ; Shorter range than specified

The ClearChat PC Wireless headset works with Mac OS X and Windows. It has a USB dongle about the size of a flash thumb drive as a transmitter, and communicates using the 2.4GHz radio frequency, similar to band used by a cordless phone

Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless headset

A headset that's lightweight, comfortable and sounds good

Bluetooth might be preferable for some users who don't want a dongle sticking out of their Mac's USB port, but for those who don't mind another device plugged into an available jack, the ClearChat PC Wireless headset offers good quality and comfort at...

Decent Headset

Aside from interferences it works good enough. Quality is fine but nothing spectacular. I'm able to switch to the earphones in an application with little issue, although sometimes the sound will output from my speakers regardless if it's plugged in...

Wireless, although you can use them with the charger plugged in as well, since the cord is long enough. Decent range and the headset comes with a stand for the USB key for easy removal

Getting interference that alters the sound (sounds like a droid from Star Wars). It also makes annoying sounds when it loses signal

Left side blues

Logitech support is replacing this one but this one is a replacement they sent that they sent about 2 months ago.

overall it's a good head set and does the job. I come in clear as do others when doing a voice chat of any kind

6 hour battery life. Left side speaker has issues. This is my second set with the same issue. Both seem to have lasted a little longer than a month before the issue began ; Basically it drops out then comes back and while listening to music it is...

This feels like a piece of tech that is still in its infancy and needs some more time before it is usable for more than tech lust. Some of the functionality like switching to speakers isn't well thought out.

The wireless feature is nice, with a range that gets most of my house, and they are reasonable price. Couldn't use it at the office because of the cons

The signal declines as the batteries that run lower, witch is a lot shorter than I had expected. I get maybe three hours of strong signal the it start to get interference, so I end up having it plunged in more often than not. The audio quality isn't...

Overall good

Compact and lightweight. All controls are easily accessible on right side of headset. (mute and volume controls) ; Has decent reception coverage as you walk away from the computer ; I use it for work to make calls from the computer. Used everyday....

Would like a longer battery life ; Ears get sore after lengthy use

Left Speaker Cuts out

The wireless headset market has very few options I have tried several wireless headset and have yet to find one that has good sound quality, comfort and can be recharged while in use.

The range is decent on this headset. The comfort is okay. You can recharge the headset while using it

My left speaker continually goes out. This started happening about a month after purchase. So I bought another headset and I've started having the same problem. It's not an issue with the RF, it's an issue with the headset ; Sound quality on this...

Good quality... For Wireless

Note: I previously owned the ClearChat Pro corded version, but after breaking the cord I forked out the extra $50 for the Wireless version. My first build: Intel Core i7-930 @2.8GHz Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Crosair 3x2GB DDR3 1333MHz CrossFireX 2x XFX HD...

Its Wireless! I can practically take it anywhere in my Town House and listen ; Decent quality ; You can still it use while charging the battery ; You have the ability to change the volume/mute the mic via buttons directly on the headset

Battery doesn't last that long. Being a gamer, playing for long hours at a time wears the battery out fast ; Quality is not great, no where as near as good as the ClearChat Pro corded version ; It doesn't go very loud. Max sound is ~40% of my $25 headset

The only thing this headset has going for it is its microphone, which still works very well for me after about a year of use.

Did have good quality sound, while it lasted ; Wireless ; Long charge cord ; Mic works great

My left speaker went dead after 3 days.... No idea why, but it just did. Oh yeah, and these things are as flimsy as paper ; Just remember that when you pick it up. Because as soon as you do, the SINGLE LAYER of what seems to be tinfoil that holds the...
