Awesome! Pick this one!

Strong cord! Rolled over the cord with my chair numerous times with no negative effects, has a break free just before the inline volume switch witch has saved me countless times from tearing my optical out apart.

Great sound quality, being able to change your sub, center, front, and rear on the fly without alt tab ect. is awesome! can wear them for hours on end with no pain or discomfort, two choices for ear pads (leather, cloth) I have a unusually big head and...

good but not thanks

If you are thinking about buying them DON'T. Get TurtleBeach better quality and better service.

good sound for about 9 month, then wire coming loose

The wires are coming loose and the MadCat (they bought Tritton) refuse to repair the headset since I bought them when triton owned the company. The MadCat is the crappiest company I EVER had to deal with. I would NEVER recommend this Headset even to my...

Stay Away

The headset itself is great - they sound great and look great. If anything goes wrong though you are pretty much out of pocket as their support system is the worst I have every dealt with. My mic died and they sent a replacement that was already...

A little trickey to get set up on the PC. The instructions are a little sparce. Once you get them going, WOW do they ever sound great. Extremely loud.

OK but not worth the money

Just invest in a good stereo headset with 3d surround. like the turtle beach dx12 $80. Thats what i ended up choosing in the end even over $250 units.

surround sound does seem more realistic than the 3D surround made from 2 speaker only headphones. Ear Pads are big and are more comfortable than the turtle beach units i tried

Doesnt get very loud ; Not much Bass ; The sacrifice u make for getting 4 speakers to fit in each ear, they end up being smaller

Excellent Product & Tech Support

Seems I'll have to go against the grain concerning the quality of Tech Support at Mad Catz/Tritton. Purchased these on 7/14/2009 from Newegg. I have thousands of hours using them. Over the course of time some of the plastic fatigued and this past...

Excellent sound quality and very comfortable - I've spent hours in these with no ear discomfort. I don't use the mic so I can't speak to the problems reported. However, I do have other headsets, including a pair of Denon AH2000 and none of them can...

Not worth the premium, terrible support

The idea is good, but the execution is bad. IMHO, to get it to work properly would push the price point of these headphones way out of reach for most gamers to be mainstream. Add in terrible customer service and support? Look elsewhere.

Good sound direction recognition...You CAN tell where a sound is coming from ; Mic works well. Nice and clear according to people on TS3 or Vent ; That's pretty much it

Terrible bass response, overly tinny treble. Any voice with a "ss" sound cuts into your ears. Poor sound quality over all, no matter the settings. Instruction manual offers little to no guidance in user set up for timings. Granted, audio quality...

Don't buy these unless you

Worked great for about 2 months when the mic died and the speakers started hissing. Too late to return, so I contacted Tritton for warranty repair. Or at least I tried to. Their ticket system on their support page has been broken for over a year. If...

Eggcellent Sound and Hardware

When I bought these headphones, it was the first generation set. Originally the cords going from the headset to the digital EAC was one long cord that connected the headset, volume/speaker control to the EAC. This originally was a pain if you happened...

The sounds is very crisp and clear and features true 5.1 surround. This is NOT emulated/virtualized surround sound. Each ear cup features four individually controllable speakers ; The "out of the box" ear cups are very comfortable for very long...

I use the optical audio cable for my Xbox. I find that when there are times of complete silence, you can sometimes hear tiny beeps and clicks. This does not happen when I have them connected to the PC via Optical Audio, not does it happen if I connect...
