Marshall Major

It seems like everyone and their cousin's brother is making headphones now. It also seems like we've made a similar comment in almost every headphone review we've published over the last couple of months. In fact, both statements are true and we think...

Brilliant, live sound ; Accurate bass ; Unique aesthetic ; Well built

Uncomfortable for long term use ; Upper mids compress at high volumes

The Marshall Major headphones offer an aesthetic appeal that is uniquely Marshall and bring with that look a very live sound that we think many listeners will appreciate.

Marshall Major (Black)

Introduction The closed-back, on-ear Marshall Majors headphones carry noise-canceling functionality for your ride to work, school, and anywhere in between. Priced at $100, the Majors deliver excellent sound detail and functional design elements like a...

The uniquely attractive Marshall Major headphones eliminate outside noise and exhibit an ample sound stage that complements any type of music.

The vinyl ear cushions retain heat and the over-ear design can be uncomfortable after several hours of continual use.

The Marshall Major headphones live up to Marshall's strong legacy with a familiar shape and excellent acoustics to match its line of amps.

"Best headphones for Electronic dance music"

I listen to tech house and these headphones produce the right sound. I hate headphones that over compensate with too much bass. These headphones have the perfect balance throughout.

Crisp sound with the right amount of bass without being overpowering

They feel a little strange on the ears.

"Great looking and good for traveling"

I quite like my marshalls for travel, and daily use on the bus. Rally like the retro look and sound is fairly good for allround use.

-Nice design

-Lacking in bass (didnt really notice it until i played acoustic jazz, with deep bass and hip-hop tracks)

"Excellent headphones for classic rock"

Discovered new sound in the music I've been listening to. Great set of headphones if you are into classic rock. Not very useful for low bass sounds. I've owned these for five months now. Not planning on buying another pair soon.

Reasonable price.

A bit too tight on the ears.

"Good alternative to $300 Noise Reduction headphones."

These are perfect for those that want something highs quality and unique. They are definitely geared to the rock/acoustic listener. A great $90 headphone.

These are perfect for those that want something highs quality and unique. They are great looking, fantastic sounding rock n roll headphones. Acoustic cuts sound particularly good. Build quality is sound.

As mentioned in previous review, these are not for the hip-hop listener or those looking for thundering bass.

"Durable design, comfortable and enjoyable listening."

Overall very happy with this product, I have owned quite a few sets of headphones. These are hands down better then the beats solo's that I use to own, obviously better then the apple ear buds and comparable to the Logitech headphones I use at home....

Sleek design, good acoustics, and the microphone and remote work very well.

Kind of expensive, shipping took longer then listed, and additional customs costs.

"THIS REALLY ISN'T MARSHALL EVERYONE. ITS a "ZOUND"."

I just wish Zound Industries (the makers of these cans) would be more transparent that this really isnt a Marshall product but a merchandise. Go ahead, go to the official "real" Marshall website and see that this headphone falls under the category...

aesthetically good.

mediocre audio quality, highs are crisp enough, mids are acceptable, lows? Can this even produce decent bass? Earth shaking bass?? WHAT? I believe the user reviewers here havent even tried real audiophile-grade headphones so they were easily impressed by
