Pleasantly Surprised:

I use headphones extensively in audio processing. These phones were an emergency replacement for my cordless headphones that had failed. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of these headphones since my experience with headphones in this price range has been less than satisfactory. The Studio Series headphones are reasonably comfortable, quality constructed and surprising in the range and clarity of sound production....all-in-all a good buy.

Well constructed, Easy to use

Great for the price

Headphones don't get super loud, but that's fine for me. With the volume at 100% and the slider all the way up, it too loud for me. It's a smooth slider, so there are no notches or numbers on it it just glides to wherever you want it. With it all the...

Comfortable, great sound, and they appear to be durable enough for me. I however, try to treat my headphones as good as possible, so it may vary from person to person. It's been 3+ months and not a single problem. There have been a few times where the...

I have pretty long hair, so this may not be a problem for everyone, but the pull my hair a lot. My hair will get stuck somewhere and as I take them off it pulls it out. The volume slider sometimes makes one side louder then the other, so you have to...

Good quality, pleasant touch, a little cheap structure.

delicate, but good sound

I just had my pair bite the proverbial dust after an amazing three years or so. I realize that may be an exceptionally long time to own these phones, 'cause they are kinda cheaply made, but they sound good and - yes!! - plenty of low end for the basshogs.

actual bass, affordable, all-around decent sound

poorly-constructed, fragile, volume adjuster on the cord is pointless

very nice sound, not super robust but OK

I have a pair at work and at home. I am very happy w/ the sound---responsive, nice frequency response and dynamic range. I am very happy with the fit---I like the cloth ear pads, as opposed to plastic. The in-line volume control seems relatively cheap,...

nice sound, comfortable

perhaps a little cheap, but not bad

Very good buy

I bought these because they cost 15 dollars, they looked like they might survive without breaking while putting them on and off. I go through at least one pair of headphones a year, so I really hate to pay alot of money for a good pair. Since...

Extrmely comfortable, good quality for most light entertainment

Not Audiophile studio headsets. Earcup pads come off requiring you to slip them back on

The best pair of headphones period. I havent seen any pair of headphones at this price and digital high quality sound. It's amazing how many people have never heard of these headphones. I hope that you buy these head phones with a smile on your face.

Not a throwaway headset

When I saw these headsets next to a pair of $100 Sennheisers, I was skeptical to say the least. As a former user of a beloved set of Sennheiser HD440II, I was certain that these Maxells (A chinese make with European branding) were just a piece of crap....

Bass, Comfort, Cheap price

Treble, Lack of isolation, cord is too short, dynamic range

I have spent hundreds of dollars on numerous pairs of headphones and for the $20 that these headphones cost me, and the fact they have digital quality, surprised me when i plugged them in. They are now my main pair of gaming headphones.
