MeElectronics M9 sound-isolating earphones Review

Cheap earphones are not hard to come by, but finding a pair that also offers decent construction and solid sound quality can be a bit more of a challenge--especially if ...

Badly unbalanced sound

Comfortable fit, nice cord, strong bass. The cord makes very little if any noise and attenuation of external noise is very good

Very unbalanced sound; bass dominates by a lot - very weak mid range and weak high end. Overall the sound is very bottom heavy and muddy because of the weakness at higher frequencies. The sound quality overall is really quite bad. It might be alright...

Grab them at this price!

I bought these in October for $17.99 and they were a great buy. So, at $9.99 they are a steal! Get a pair! You won't be sorry!

Fidelity is good. Bass response is very good. Chord is not fragile

You get what you pay for

Overall..I was only statisfied for about a month. I think the CX200 is a better choice.

The bass is great on these headphone. Also, if you enable tremble/vocal booster, everything sounds crystal clear WITH bass. Long strong wire

EH. First, these headphones started to give away after a little over two months. But you cant expect much at that price ; They also create a suction in your ears...it hurts after having them in for a while. But I think it must be like that for all...

Good value, but don't expect wonders

Good value ; Comfortable ; Plug fits over my iphone 4 case (case crown) ; It's easier to put it on (but it comes out easier...see cons) ; Sound is comparable to slightly more expensive M6 ; Sounds better than stock iphone earphones

You can hear the wire tap (e.g., not good for running) ; Boomy and tinny at the same time (this is comparing to audio technica ath-m50) ; Compared to M6, the earplug pops out easier ; No mic for using it with iphone

Awesome Sound Incredible Value

Newegg rocks! I love shopping with you.

This item arrived in fantastic Newegg packaging as usual. Sounds is great for the price I paid. It even comes with a small case. Fit comfortably in my ears with the ear buds they come in. If they don't fit for your, there are three more pairs for...

Good value

Some users seem to confuse model M9 with M9P. M9 does not have a switch or microphone and is therefore less functional with cell phones and ipods than the M9P, which is basically the same set of earhones plus a microphone and one-button switch. M9P...

Not an audiophile set but very, very good sound in this price range (<$20, $10 on sale). Sturdy-built reinforced wires, multiple ear cushions

Highs could be brighter, lows could be lower but at this price I cannot complain

MEElectronics M9 Hi-Fi 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal Sound-Isolating Earphone (Black)

Ok, so sound is a bit of a mixed bag. I'll start off by saying that for the price I paid, these are the best sounding earbuds I've ever had. Are they the best earbuds out there? Hell no! But after some EQ tweaking I'd say they were more than worth the...

Surprisingly durable feeling ; Carrying case is nice ; Decent assortment of tips ; Very good at blocking out ambient noise ; They were on sale ; See other thoughts for sound quality

Noticeable cable knock ; I don't like the 90° angled plug ; Cable is little shorter than I'd have liked ; The case with "MEElectronics" splashed across it makes it look like a cheap set of buds that'd come bundle with something ; See other thoughts for...
